the most brutally honest song I think I've ever heard And the music is incredible. Be proud of this , DCFC

their shows are amazing. i've seen them in amsterdam, atlanta. its really something to see how all these beats come together on stage through their instruments. He also conveys the songs emotion so effortlessly on stage. Their songs are so emotionally intense. it hits everyone in the audience a little differently. their songs have the ability to take you back to very specific moments in your life with a rush of emotion. i usually shut my eyes when i listen to my favorites such as this one.

i've been in almost the exact same situation. i pretty much only play death cab in my car, and when things went bad with my girlfriend, or in other parts of my life for that matter, it often felt like ben was singing my life story. i love death cab for cutie.

heartbreaking song! i already loved death cab when i got into this one, but the love took on a whole new meaning when i first heard "tiny vessels". "the bruises that you said you didn't want to fade, but they did. and so did i that day." "so when you ask 'is something wrong?', i think 'you're damn right there is!'. but we can't talk about it now. no, we can't talk about it now". beautiful!

@Ohyouknowit7 жыл бұрын
The dude who typically plays lead picked up a bass and is just playing a bassline that's really higher pitched riff instead. I guess this song didn't require a lead guitar riff.

Why is ben's guitar always so low
@agreen18210 жыл бұрын
Typically DCFC's live performances route Ben's guitar to the left channel and Chris' to the right. So it may seem low at points just because it's only coming through one side.

Narrow stairs was an amazing album straight up. i didn't like meet me on the equinox either and i hate twilight but you honestly can't tell me that if you were a band that doesn't make a hell of a lot of money and someone offered you thousands of dollars to write a song for a movie, you would say "no"?! you can't blame them for that. get over it!
