Agreed. The spaciousness is a winning feature. However, I'm sure it gets old paying for gas to go 5-8 miles per gallon. Alas it is a comfort vs practically sum, and we all have our unique sweet spots.
@scottslotterbeck37963 жыл бұрын
@@OrthodoxAtheist Yup. It's probably best to view a vehicle such as this as a stationary vehicle that can move around every once in a while. If we can ever get back on the abundant, safe, carbon-free nuclear power mated with the new catalytic production of carbon-based fuel made from CO2 in the atmosphere, we are home free, and mpg won't be that big of a deal.

I wanted metal Lowe dupped me ended up with shop partical board with vinyl covering which is coming off. Sad to say Sanders is not as good as it use to be still had good customer service though and replaced parts no question asked. Yes my kitchen industrial look good buy on the cabinetry buy one pantry shop grade get one upper cabnet free. So it was a quick kitchen fix for a husband who howled at the time that he wasn't into finish carpentry and he was a truck driver so cabnet building is time consuming this also was a weekend do so it worked for us. I will eventually pull off the vinyl covering and paint after a long honey do list left to me to complete now on my own:-(

4:03 Good call, the allure of fast flame and food heat time being what you'd normally expect may be tempting. However in such a small enclosed area if there is a leak by the time you smell it you're probably dead since it's likely filled the entire area and it just needs to reach batteries or whatever and it's nothing but smoke.

In that event, gas for the vehicle will be a problem. They'd need to be able to produce alternative fuel and have it run on it. That's probably not practical. So basically this would allow you to get a certain distance for as long as you have gas, after that you're pretty much stationary. Gas has a shelf life. Perhaps solar could help it run for short distances?
@skywatcher46023 жыл бұрын
@@theuglykwan True. But ive heard engines run on more than gas. Ive heard of people using old grease. Not sure i would try that lol. Or steam. I have no clue about engines but there was steam engines I guess they ran on coal ? Anyway ... something to check into

Seriously cool. I don’t think downsizing your wardrobe is trivial at all. It’s probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done when it comes to tiny living. I’m with you about relying on solar for electricity and cooking with induction. We have a propane stove in our trailer (which is 2 years old) and it’s nothing but a pain. We don’t even use it. I love the few little plants you have. They just seemed to add that little touch of home. Oh my gosh that view of the Grand Canyon was stunning. I bet sunrises and sunsets are amazing! I regret not being able to find something and building our own but neither of us is good at DIY (nor do I care to). Many happy travels!
