my vertex weight is not being affected by the fields, and I do not have the paint tool in my character tab. I can search for the paint tool and use it without issues, but it's odd that it's not there, and I still can't use fields for weight painting. please help.

same, vertex are not affected by fields at all.

@@NojsGraphics You need to go into basic tab on your vertex tag and select "Use Fields". If that isnt working, try selecting all polygons and set the vertex weight to 0% as well.

You can find Paint tool in "Tools" menu, it's not in "Character" menu anymore.

i don't understand, why it doesn't work for me? I have simple human body object, I followed these instructions maybe 10 times, and displacement always affects the whole object. I made with more polygons, change the object size bigger or smaller. Still nothing. Really annoying, what I'm doing wrong? Because I did everything like here.

can you add more than 1 vertex map pro object? Its a realy powerfull tool for controlling procedural textures (yeah i hate UVW) and sometimes 1 is not enough.
