Would you make a short, or even a full length, dedicated to the different plays of an H17 vs a S17? This was a very informative video on soft 18. I learned a few things.

Oh boy... that wouldn't be short. Did you get the chart? It has 5 or so of the main differences, as far as deviations go.

Yet another great video! Why does this A7 differ from the BJA Deviation charts for both H17 & S17? Both deviation charts read *Ds 2-7*… (Double if allowed, otherwise Stand)…? The Fab 4 differ from both of their Surrender deviation charts as well?

BJA only has 1 basic strategy chart because they believe in the KISS method (keep it simple stupid) the amount of extra money you will earn from knowing both basic strategy charts isnt worth the extra time energy and risk of screwing it up Also it's such a close deviation if you played this hand as a stand at a RC 0 on an H17 game I dont think you would be a losing player you might lose a few cents per hour if everything else was done properly

It differes from their free chart. In their paid members' site, they have multiple deviation charts, and this follows those.

@@bruce4139 what about the count differences in the Surrender spots? BJA also omitted the 14 vs 10 (+4) Surrender as well as a couple of the Illustrious 18 deviations such as 12 vs 15 & 12 vs 16…?

Does H-17 mean hard-17 or Hit-17

Hard 17. Talking about different casino rules

@@andrewmontes3639 I believe it's actually hit-17, as in the dealer must hit instead of stand on a soft-17.

S17 = dealer (S)tands on soft 17 H17 = dealer (H)its on soft 17

Its hit all hard 17s and s17 is stand all 17s, I just think if you need a hard 17 to stop or a soft 17 and I call it hard 17 or soft 17

Hey A1 question for you If I have 8,8 against an ace or 10 and im playing ENHC OBO do I split or surrender the hand ENHC says to surrender but OBO says to treat it as if its H17 and split, but ENHC tells me to play based on the fact that its no OBO. But some of the math is changed because its ENHC even if you you only lose original bet only when they have a natural
