Good video, glad you're encouraging people to wander through the band's more. One comment, _not_ a complaint: You keep talking about winter, but don't forget to remind people that the seasons are opposites in the northern and southern hemispheres. So Australia was in summertime when you were talking about your wintertime. It's a big, wonderful planet, enjoy listening to it!

not sure if this would impact signals, but the earth is actually closer to the sun in our orbit around the sun during northern winter. and of course with the longer nights we can see the sun is hitting the northern hemisphere on a different angle as the north pole is tilted away from the sun. maybe (and i mean maaayyyybbbeeee) the different angle excites the atmosphere differently allowing the 10M performance you spoke of. just some thoughts. thanks for your videos, i find them enjoyable as well as helpful. --Rob

Do you know what 25mhz is used for? I’ve heard that they were military frequencies that are abandoned but who knows

You never know what you can pick up...It could be a soldier in some military action and will never know..there is no ident and just a couple of lines of words in another language..Heard on 9.1290 usb around 2300utc...I will try this every night to try to find out what this is...
