LOVE this! I love especially how you mentioned the mental part of it as well. Yesterday I did 32 fouettes en pointe and I have been working on all technical elements. I decided to relax and not panic - it worked and felt free :) I could feel everything happening internally.

Hey Kathryn! First of all, I wanted to congratulate you on this amazing youtube channel! Very, very good! I was wondering if you could do a warm up routine for stretching? I have to stretch every morning, but can't with cold muscles. Do you have in mind a routine that wouldn't take very long but, at the same time, well preparing muscles to follow stretching? I would really love if you could reply, or do a video about it! Kisses and hugs from Lisbon :)

Always such a joy to see you with a new video! Makes me want to try immediately, which in is case is a feal challenge in a small appartment :-) in case you will be doing Q&A again some time, I'd really be keen to learn your opinion on how you'd describe the right "feel" for a well fitting pointe shoe. I recently changed from (tapered) Grishkos to (square) Freed Classics, and even though the (very lovely) fitter insisted these were the right kind of shoes for my (admittedly wide) feet and do look lovely, they hurt so much. Now I am really confused if this is how it is supposed to be...

This too www.the-perfect-pointe.com/FootDiagramExplanations.html I have tapered feet to and I wear grishkos 2007s. Where do your feet hurt? If it's your big toe, try putting lambs wool towards the tips of your pinky toes to evenly distribute your weight. That helps me I hope it can help you :)
