A Pro Tip I'd give is though you can be friendly with clients, even though you may feel inclined to give them deals after you've built a strong relationship, be careful not to let them take advantage of you. You may feel guilty, especially if you've gotten too close....but you've got to survive too.

This video I wanted a lot from this one thing I’ve learned for myself is consistency and what I mean by that is do everything on repetition whether better clients in my skills or just in general, for more work and networking especially

Great tips! I totally agree with the tip on high-quality microphones and backgrounds for Zoom calls. Been doing that for a while!

I have recently used my RED cam and BMD Cams on Zoom calls with clients and they were very impressed. It’s really important to show that you can create stunning images in the first few moments of talking with someone. Also having the best sounding mic setup in a meeting people are more likely to listen rather than talk over you.

The main thing is one has to know their cost of doing business. If you charge for the gear rentals similar to what a rental house charges and then through the day rates on top, plus three times that for post, one should not be undercharging. Otherwise, none of this is sustainable and y’all need a day job to support your camera purchases.
