didn't even think not removing the rubber line off the reservoir. Fortunately, it didn't break off ! Got a 5th gen camaro, and was going to replace the pump originally, but found alot of moisture on the high pressure line. Great work, learned alot from this !

Thanks homie, I was just gonna start turning wrenches remove the lines install the new ones, and call it a day. The finer details are gonna help a lot. This will be easy as pie. I hit a nasty pot hole on the interstate yesterday and for certain my front bumper which is plastic bottomed out. The lines on my car hang low and it must have flexed the line which sprung the leak on an already older car.

People might disagree but i found using 10 wt hydrolic oil makes every seal hose etc last a whole lot longer never had another pump or seal go out once i quit using power steering fluid the fluid type is bull my dads dodge used a type mineral oil every 2 years seals would o out we put hydrolic oil in it over 200k miles no more leaks after 2 pump seal failures in 30k miles

My power steering on my 2005 Liberty Jeep is making a whining sound when you turn the steering wheel and fluid leaks out of it when you turn your steering wheel but if you leave your wheel straight and you just go out and let it run and check it it's not leaking but so you turn the steering wheel fluid starts coming out of the line is that my pump is bad or is it just the fluid leaking cuz it's filled up with fluid

Idk if you still answer comments or questions, but if I follow this video step for step, will I be able to do this alone? Like, is there any keys components, steps, or techniques not shown in the video that may make me inadvertently mess up? I cannot afford to have this professionally replaced and want to do it myself. The whole line is warped and cracked. Also, how do I make sure I get the right replacement part for the job? I have a 2008 Sebring.

With this video you have everything you need. nothing is left out. If you have not tackled many project on a vehicle make sure you go slow and follow each step and you will be fine. I would go to rockauto.com for parts. it is idiot proof. pick the make > year > model > trim and it gives you the correct parts. good luck!
