I’m native and I don’t really recommend listening to Kpop(to learn language). I think old songs like in the 80s are great but definitely not Kpop today. A lot of Idols tend to change their accents a lot to sound like a rapper or north American accent, which gives you a very bad Korean accent. And the lyrics doesn’t seem to help because it’s not the kind of expressions that natives use. also what I personally think is important when learning languages is that we need to get the flow that natives use. If we don’t know the actual tone and flow people use, we are going to read the letters in syllables, and that way we can’t never be able to speak fluent and fast or even understand fast speeches. If you are going to learn Korean by listening something, I recommend you to watch dramas instead. But drama tones and flows are also very different from the way natives speak, so watching live broadcasts from Kpop stars would be nice. Because they won’t use difficult words and expressions. My Chinese improved rapidly when I watched natives speaking.

I actually tried learning on my own for a few months, but it was so hard since the book i used didn’t explain everything. So i signed up for a page called Conversation Exchange and found some native Koreans in my country. It worked really well and i found someone who was more than willing to help me study! I promised to teach her my native language in exchange. I think this is the best option if you don’t want to study on your own, but it is also dangerous, so if you try this, always check the person before you meet up and take someone with you for your first meeting! But if you are cautious enough it is really great website! (You can even study online or skype if you dont want to meet). Btw: love your channel! :)

I'm Korean and am not very good at it. My grandma said "You need to learn Korean!" So I tried. And I just got lazy. And KZbin keeps recommending these videos. I showed it to my sister and she was like "KZbin's sending you a message!!!!! They're telling you to not slack off." So I searched this up and here I am. Thank you! I really needed this. I am determined to learn so I dont disappoint my family. Plus I want to learn while I have time during the summer!!!!!

I remember when I was in 4th grade, we had a transfer student from israel and we stuck sticky notes around our classroom to help her learn english words, and I still think it's a very useful method :)

I also really recommend a website called Learn Korean, it goes through EVERYTHING and is split into lessons which can be great for time management, they also link videos at the end of each lesson for pronunciation and reading/writing practice !

Korean is very easy. In other languages, various laws, such as subject, verb, bore, etc. work, and in Korean, no matter where the subject is placed or where the verb is placed at the end, it all has the same meaning.

Another tip! If you're watching a Kdrama and you're not really paying attention (or even if you are) pause it whenever and repeat everything they say in the drama. In addition to this you can also put Korean subtitles instead of English. This helps you improve your pronunciation and it helps you read it faster. Also this is unrelated to the last tip but you can also out a pen/pencil in your mouth. It helps with pronunciation as well.

This will be easy for me as I already know some words in Korean. I watch many K-dramas and such as well and I'm a huge K-pop fan. I will follow everything on this video except going to the library since there is no close library near me. I will just buy Korean books and such to learn Korean from. :) Good luck anyone who will be trying to learn Korean! :)

The tip with changing everything to Korean is actually every helpful I’ve only been studying for 1 month and my sister is more advanced in Korean but she’ll ask me questions in Korean and the funny thing is I’ll talk to my cat in Korean and sometimes and actually does what I say 😂
