10 days? oh no... im only able to take about two days off from work... i hope 4 days (including the weekend) will be enough to get my new puppy acclimated. Ill be picking her up on March 23rd!! Excited and anxious again (especially when she becomes a teenager).

New puppies are very needy. Even after 4 days you'll need some help from someone to tend to her while you're at work. Puppies need to go out for potty very frequently and need constant supervision when they are young. This gets better but for the first few months or even up to a year, most people need some extra help if they'll be away from home for more than an hour or two.

Everyone is talking about the walks, at the same time vets do not recommend walking in the places where others dogs can be till puppy gets all vaccines (4 months). So, it seems like a conflict, or I don't understand anything?

It's an important balance of getting your puppy exposed to the world in a positive way, before 16 weeks of age, vs keeping them safe from disease. We feel there is a way to do it safely, and it's important to do it for socialization before the imprint period ends around 16 weeks. This video can explain it a bit more for you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2WyhWiNj7-Gj68
