I am very keen to join this class as I would like to finally be organized and have some of the stress/strain lifted; however I am curious, are there any sort of "in-class purchases" I will need to make (buying organizing supplies, etc) for this course to work. As I am on a non-existent budget at the money - no extra money can be spent. PLEASE let me know as am happy to pay $30.00 to get organized as long as I don't need to purchase additional items to get that way. Many thanks x

How refreshing to see a REAL life bedroom that's not straight out of pinterest!! We moved 1.5 years ago from a larger and more modern home into a more traditional, rustic, and smaller space with more land like we wanted. It's like everywhere you look for inspiration is new, white, bright, unachievable and meticulously decorated spaces. Thanks for keeping it real!!

My husband and I are high-fiving each other: We spent New Year's Eve and Day decluttering our bedroom. We went through boxes that have been sitting in the room since we moved in 20 years ago!!! We got rid of EIGHT bags of trash, and a car load of stuff to GoodWill!! You are our inspiration! We focused on decluttering, not organizing. I am ADHD, so easily distracted. We found that keeping focused on this one aspect really helped us get through the massive amount we did! Once we are done decluttering, we will look at what is left and what we need to do to organize the space so it actually works for us. Thank you so much, Cass, for all your continuing inspiration!! ❤️❤️

Hi Cas, your videos are so encouraging and motivating! My big challenge is my boyfriend of 12 years and I sold both of our 1400 SQFT homes and bought a 4,000 SQFT home built in 1913, drafty, dusty two story plus basement, three years ago. That's the fun part 😀I'm still trying to unpack and decorate, but every time I get a room put together... he sees it as the perfect place to set up a table and do a project. He has managed to fill this house with 'collectables'😳. I talk about decluttering my own stuff quite often in hopes of getting him to think about doing the same🤞

This was fun to watch. I'm impressed by how much better the bedroom looks just by rearranging furniture and adding curtains. Definitely a major improvement…well done 👍🏻 I just can’t wrap my head around putting any furniture in front of the window. Part of the joy of my windows is the ability to look out, or open and close them with complete ease. Windows have a purpose…letting in light and views. Having said that, I’m always amazed at how poorly some architects design rooms that result in having to obscure windows. How often I’ve seen homes that feature couches and chairs placed with their backs to the window taking away the joy of looking outside.

I absolutely love this! It is always so inspiring to watch your transformations. I keep watching in hopes that I can jump right in and get started. Lol. Thanks for the share. Happy New Year!

Watching this only wishing my room looked that clean before starting!! Cas I can watch your videos over and over and still don't know where to start :-( if I wasn't so embarassed I'd tell you to come on over to Laval, Qc!! Happy new year, wishing you and your family all the best, and I hope your daughter is learning the rules of the road with a few more tricks up your sleeve!!

Make a plan to just do just one corner or section of the room at a time... You can do it! Don't feel badly at all -- it's so easy for clutter to pile up!🥰

Start with 5 minutes at a time. Get out any garbage first. Wash what is dirty ('cause I think what you donate should be clean anyway). Look at the diference you've already made! One day at a time, you got this! This is the speach I am giving myself too. :)

I watched another video the other day (not Cas's) and the speaker said to look at your room and find something that bugs you that you can do in 10 minutes - eg put your clothes away, throw out some garbage - then do it. It made sense to me. I am not a "make a plan" type of person. This scatter gun approach, if applied consistently, couldn't help but make progress, which then encourages us to keep going.

I love this transformation! I totally need to get organized in our small closet. Question... How do you hang long items with that duel rod system (ie dresses, long sweaters, etc)? Thanks for the inspiration Cass! 👍
@Clutterbug Жыл бұрын
I fold up long dresses with the bottoms draped over the hanger. Sweater dresses usually always fit, but long maxi dresses need a quick fold up

I miss seeing u on TV , & I don't know why I Never thought to look u up on KZbin lol. But I happened to learn of ur KZbin channel when I saw a video n my feed from Dana White , I didn't know she existed either . Now I'm subscribe to both of u. Oh & that's where I learned of Minimal Mom I think is her channel name..I saw all 3 of y'all talking about decluttering together so I'm subscribed to all 3 now. Now I get to binge watch all of y'alls videos . Now if only my house was organized . But u really INSPIRED me . Now I'm fixing to declutter my TV stand drawers . Thx again ❤

Amazing!! Our bedroom is definitely the wart of our house. Even the spare room/walkin storage closet is more organized then our room.

We have cd books and all the cases are in storage. We have a book per loose theme.

I took mine out of the cases and put them in a dvd “book” I had to use 2 but sure takes up a lot less space, fits nicely under the tv, instead of the large bookshelf they were on 😁

The DVD books are amazing! My cases are gone. I donated them for crafts. If I declutter the DVD I either just trash it because it's gotten scratched or donate it in a clear case from something new

I had the same problem!!! I bought a couple of Kvarnvik storage boxes from Ikea, took the DVDs out of their cases and slipped them and their cover papers (these slip right out of the cases) into Clear CPP Plastic DVD sleeves by StarTechDeals. You can order the sleeves from Amazon. They come in packs of 50. I fit them all in three little boxes. Absolutely life changing!
