Yargle and Multani is my favorite smooth brain deck. All you need is a bunch of equipment, auras, mana dorks, ramp, and other synergy pieces and you're gonna keep one-shotting players
@mr.mammuthusafricanavus8299Ай бұрын
LOL I play an aristocratic power matters version that ultimately wins with Greater Good+ Cadaverous Bloom to make tonnes of mana and draw out my deck while spending a black mana (ex: Supernatural Strength, Malakir Rebirth, etc...) to keep bringing back Yargltani. It's so silly how often it works :P

Me no think good, me smash face. Me appreciate video. I do have Yuriko, finishing up rebuilding Kaalia, have both Arcades and Voja (haven't built yet, but we toying with them). So, I'm only at 4/5, since I haven't looked into Greensleeves... yet. I will be the first to admit that I don't like thinking, so perfectly fine with being called out 😅 I've had the ninja deck since Planechase Anthology, and, well, it was terrible before Yuriko existed. That said, I had one turn with four Yuriko triggers: _land, land, land, Ornithopter_ ... "I'm sad".

Playing a kaalia of the vast commander deck and its always my go to deck for relaxed playing. Also, i find my valgavoth deck very relaxing as I just keep on casting enchantments and stuff and let my opponents duel it out for survival. Then just interact with them once their life total is around 20ish. 😅

A friend of mine used to play a "board-wipe tribal" Zurgo deck. The deck plan was extremely simple: cast Zurgo, remove the rest of the creatures, hit people in the face with Zurgo. Simple as.

Quite a few Typal decks. Which I agree are some of the easiest to play. But, didn't forget Voltron decks. My son's favorite is Indominus Rex, Alpha

Rick, Steadfast Leader / Greymond. Pick cool humans, toss in some anthems and board wipe protection, and give all your humans vigilance and first strike when your commander hits the board. Horn of Gondor makes you an exponential army.
@thatonescarecrow4692Ай бұрын
Rendmaw is the one for me. I just ramp into the scarecrow and afterwards start casting chaff fodder cards from Theros and New Kamigawa to flood the board with birds, which do all of the killing work for me

Favorite commander where I don't have to think is Tuya Bearclaw. Have it set up as an aggro/heavy-trample-enabler deck. My pod knows when it hits the table I'm just tapping lands and creatures for the next 30-60 minutes.

@niraxusv2Ай бұрын
@@rickymeggs9853 It's on archidekt by adding /decks/2105361/tuya_bearclaw since I can''t post a direct link on KZbin. It was last updated during Thunder Junction with a few neat cards that fit the build. Originally started out as a $100 beatdown list but over time the price has crept up. The crowning moment was knocking an opponent out with a 12/12 Sakura Tribe Elder, the buffs being from Halana and Alena.

My favorite braindead commander is The infamous Cruelclaw. Not the meme deck style but like 60 lands with big nasty's, artifacts to grant flying, double strike, shroud, indestructible, and some of the good stuff out of the velgavoth commander precon. That is my go to for that category. I also have a isshin two heavens as one deck that is loaded with legendary creatures, day of destiny, attack triggers, and other stuff to buff my legendries out the gate. Also working on a Big Kitty eater of all deck that pumps out tokens like no tomorrow.

I just started watching and I'm fully expecting to see my darling Giada ^^ There's nothing simpler than mono-white angels. Play a bigger angel every turn until everyone is dead. If I'm honest I'll even admit that sometimes I'm annoyed to have ramp or card draw in my starting hand. Yes, it's often more efficient and technically better, but - no angel that turn :( Edit: I maintain that Giada is incredibly easy and very, very strong.

i'm not very knowledgeable on commander, i only know a few decks. but my number 1 spot is tied between sheoldred the apocalypse and the the sliver hivelord. the first is simply play sheoldred, play a bunch of stuff that lets players draw a gazillion cards and just sit there while the other players die without you needing to do anything. the other is play a creature that makes all your creatures indestructible. then play other creatures that buff up all your creature, making them huge or giving them evasion. and just smash face without caring about blockers. i have two friends that play these decks, and everytime i'm the one that gets targeted first, because the slivers player just smashes, the other thinks "what's the point in attacking iinto indestructible blockers?". makes me salty asf

@xCratussАй бұрын
I think „Garna, Bloodfist of Keld“ is a very underrated aggro commander for dummies. Just swing your creatures 90 degree each turn for tons of value. And you even have a built in peotection from board wipes because they kinda die if they destroy all your creatures

Mines would be Urza, Lord Chief Artificer. He makes the armies of huge ass Constructs so consistently and their power/toughness just grow each turn. It can get out of hand if he’s left alone lol In the past I made an army of 10+/10+ Constructs and gave them flying through Wonder in the grave. I was the target in the table lol

I agree with most of the decks on this list except yuriko. Its actually tough to pilot sometimes and One thing about the deck is thats it has a high skill ceiling meaning thats its very technical but has really unique plays you can make with double ninjutsu on the stack. Its still exceptionally weak to cards that gain control of yuriko and very hard to rebuild from board wipes/sweepers because they have low toughness. Burn decks are tough to play against if they’re shooting down unblockables and Its hard to rebuild board states after you get nuked sometimes and black can help with that but i think yuriko isn’t a “brain off deck” and you also have to play weird quirky high cost cards and get lucky in the process too. Ninjutsu is one of the most fun mechanics in mtg tho

Point of Order on that Kaalia into Master of Cruelties combo, it doesn't quite work because MoC has to attack but it enters tapped and *attacking* but did not declare an attack so it's effect will not trigger until the next turn so you have to wait 1 turn to do that combo
@elefalandaАй бұрын
An ability that triggers when something "attacks and isn't blocked" triggers in the declare blockers step after blockers are declared if (1) that creature is attacking and (2) no creatures are declared to block it. It will trigger even if that creature was put onto the battlefield attacking rather than having been declared as an attacker in the declare attackers step.
