Its very nice to see your reactions. I drive an untuned Disco 2 TD5 with performance problems - seeing you get up to speed and hitting the limiter within seconds is crazy for me.

Very tricky with EGR blanks. It is an MOT fail in the UK if it is obviously modified, I.e Removed or obviously blanked. The MOT tester is allowed to use mirrors now to check under the cover to see if it's modified. But like you said, a lot of places don't know TD5's so they miss this! Great video guys.

Thera are kits available to look like egr but has no holes. Or you can blank original one pull out the guts and no one knows. Cheers mate. Sory for my eanglish.

Great job, Mine is an Auto and just finally juttered way to much and pulled over M&S lights flashing engine light flashing, So I am takeing the pan off tomorrow to check the tranny oil, Atleast it did 6km from home and not on our trip LOL. Manual is the way to go

m&s flash cuz auto gearbox has a nm limit and if you pass that it wont work anymore so be careful

Hoping that will do it, she made a huge trip and only started nearing home thankfully, did it once before years back when slowing up it juddered got home checked oil and added fine since then till now lol

the limit on the auto is round about 380 nm. The major let down with the auto Td5 is its torque converter. The standard td5 torque converter wont handle the kinds of tuning most people would like. Beat thing to do is to stick a 4.0 v8 torque converter in either from a 4.0 d2 or a 4.0 p38.

So here’s the 1 million dollar question. What do you prefer and which performs the best. The v8 or the stage 3 disco? I have the td5 but my son wants a v8. I really like the v8 sound. Your thoughts?

Way more torque on the TD5 at low RPM so for towing, etc that's better

We have cameras on posts cameras in vans and police with hand held cameras hiding in bushes mate so think yourself lucky mate 😂😂
