Very good video. I am very happy to see that there is a good patronage--especially considering that there is already a Tejas from MDU to MS at approximately the "same time frame". Fare is less than AC buses and the seating, I presume, will also be so much more comfortable. But then day after Deepavali could have been an exceptional day for high traffic. Other Wednesdays may not bring so many people....not sure.

Omni is collecting around 2500 to 3500 on F days from Chennai to Madurai and Nellai. Even from Thanjavur to Chennai Omni is collecting Rs 1200 for Chair and Rs 1500 for Sleeper buses. VB rate for Tnj to Chennai would be only 1300 .thanks sir

If state govt is allowed to collect taxes from railways, ticket rates will be higher than Omni buses. It's strange why people fail to understand how much the state govt is looting from Omni buses as taxes. No. of Omni buses have been cut to half due to the atrocities by the state govt. The govt failed to provide proper service to the people and at the same time troubles ther private operators also. People from far South of TN are only relied on Omni buses.

No. There is no food option. However, catering is available on the train and you can buy from them.

The coffee and chai were ₹15 if I remember. Since i bought the food from outside, I'm not sure what the food cost was.
