Some vested interests wanted political gains and knew the caste dynamics of TN and they plotted since they found Brahmins will not give up job to join politics and made sure others believed that Brahmins are not Dravidian but other castes were willing because of lack of disciple and long term thought. These dalits comprise of all castes some 10 centuries back. The popular name we recognise today as natamai gave fair judgements and if someone be it any caste does wrong like murdering then that person and family was kept out of society. Those people were actually from all castes! Even if Brahmins commit mistake then he also will be taken off the village and has to live separately. These later became the major composite of the dalit group. Others include tribal people these people where there in all states but here in TN you see huge number of dalits because of Natamai judgement factor. Many talk about Brahmin colour without knowing the colour of female leads in all tamil movies. does vijay romance dark women in his movies? He wants his pair to be very fair and talk all the patriachial dialogue of his.... even his wife is very fair. So successful people only prefer women who look fair in colour. So after last 4 centuries where brahmins have been considerably successful they have married white complexion women and have given birth to fair complexioned offspring!
