Chad... It's called capitalism and it's what makes our economy work. You have the manufacturers, the importer/distributor and then retail sales... Every step of the way, people make a little bit of money.. I do not sell over the internet and KZbin's made it quite clear that it will NOT tolerate that sort of thing from it's content providers like the fella that owns this channel! If you are really interested in acquiring one of these firearms, I suggest you get with an FFL in your area. But regardless, you will not get an FFL to give you their cost for anything if they are interested in making a living.

Tisas only recently hit my radar. It is a nice looking gun, seems well made and certainly comes in at a good price point. If I were going to pick a weak point I would say it is the safety. I would prefer no safety, while a decocker is a good thing. But, if I'm going to have to have a safety, I want the better function which is thumb down to take off the safety. The thumb up safety activation is just no good from a dexterity standpoint. Nonetheless, it is definitely worthy of a look. Very good review. Tight, informative and well presented. So while a thumb up safety is no good, a thumb up to the review is.

Looks like a 92 series trigger system with safety decocker mated to a Browning-Petter locking design. If done right this pistol should work, and work very well.

I have this pistol...well the Zigana Sport and it is an excellent, soft shooting pistol. I prefer it to other DA/SA pistols such as the Beretta 92. My only dislike of the Zigana Sport is the grip but I see the Regent SP1 has upgraded!

Like the father of the 1911 ment it to be.... It's a side release. Kills me when Glock fanboys say different... That's not saying I'm gonna get butthurt if they say different,. Don't really care to tell the truth. To me the ultamate pistol is the 1911... Period. Most of the fanboys are new shooters, and I pretty much figure the haven't tried much of anything else. For you guys that haven't been around a while, I'm telling you that there are many pistols that felel and shoot better than any Glock... Even these imports. Don't knock this one before your pull the trigger. Great job GB!

Actually on the 1911 its isn't just a slide release its both a slide lock/catch and release. Because its designed to be actuated in both directions by the thumb. Same thing applies on the Zigana. Its both. The raised portion of the grip is there to prevent accidental activation under recoil. Not to suggest its a release only.

1911's are great for target shooting, but modern firearms are more concealable, have better capacity, and are just as accurate.

The magazine looks almost identical to berreta 92 mags. Might be worth checking into. I'm pretty sure sds imports has introduced a new model of this gun too, as the Zigana F. They may have extra mags for sale.

I've actually had the chance to shoot one of these. Not a bad pistol at all. However the slide mounted safety and dead trigger when in safety are 2 major reasons I took a hard pass on picking one of these up. If it were a decocker only or a frame mounted safety I'd feel different. BTW if anyone has noticed the character of LT Pierce played by Tom Welling on Fox's Lucifer has this gun as his sidearm. Good video.

I got one just for the looks of it. I sent it back to factory because trigger was broken and gun kept jamming every other shot. I got it back and it was worst than ever. Im sure I got a lemon 🍋. I sold it and got a Glock. NEVER AGAIN WILL I buy this model of gun no matter how awesome it looks.

Classic Firearms has is for $229++ now, both full size and shortened. No barrel porting however. A 20-round magazine for SIG P226 by Mecgar is $24 and will hopefully fit.
