Are you sure about the burning damage being shotgunned on flame projection ? This seems to go against everything I think I know about dots (only the highest dps dot of each element is active).

Yeah. It's wrong. The burn damage of only one of the many projectiles applies.

Which skill are you referring too? If you are talking about Flame Surge then yes, the shotgun effect works, highest dps dot does apply but for other skills in comparison, this skill hits with all projectiles of its own and when more projectiles hit the same enemy, it deals more damage for this reason. I tested the skill before i made the guide, so...

@@TheLineofEpicHeroes Oh I know you play the game much more than me and are more knowledgeable about it. And there is no doubt Flame Surge has a shotgunning components. It's just that there is nothing in the skill which would suggest the burns stack. And I didn't test it myself. If so, would it be because of some quirks with every projectiles hitting at the same frame (as opposed to Knife Throw for exemple ?)

No skill in the game explains in the description exactly the details of how it works, these are things we players need to discover, this skill works this way, all you need to do to test it is simply use it on a single enemy 2 times, first try only one projectile of the base skill to hit the enemy and check out the damage numbers, then hit the same enemy with all 3 projectiles of the skill to hit it, you will see that you deal much more damage now, both instant fire and if you have the burn effect, more burn too. This is happening because each projectile of the skill conveys the full amount of damage we see in its tooltips.

Hello I've got another question. I'm thinking about creating a character based on item called the Sickle of Kronos. Which both professions combined will be the best for this item? I'm thinking about a defense with the electricity, but I'd like better to ask a professional what is better :D

Hi, it will not be easy to equip this weapon because you will need items that provide reduction to Strength/Intelligence requirements but if you want to aim for it, then Runes mastery with Warfare is a great combination.

Yeah, go with Strength/Dexterity, forget Intelligence for now.

Nope, it is a buff skill that provides some damage and resistances e.t.c.
