Hi Titanforge podcast, I've been playing a lot of classic lately and recently ran Zul'Farrak in Tanaris and all I could think was how dope it would be to be remade into a current m+ dungeon. What are your guys' thoughts

The part that scare me a little bit for the dragonriding boss is that we start the raid in the temple and end it in the tree. “Lorewise” it make sense to have this fight mid/late raid to move to the tree for the latest boss.

For the M plus fix, It could go in a way that the max vault keys (that would be 20 now) would not get lower when you don't finish them so people that just wanna do EZ weekly 20 for the vault don't have to do 3 dungeons if they wanted to do only one for the vault.

OMG when they were talking about aug, the point that Dratnos made about the top end and the bottom end mirror the conversation around Yumi from league almost exactly. Trying to make something for the casual players but inadvertently making it too OP for the top end.

Yeah, that's why nothing should ever be made for casuals. They're casuals. They can just underperform in lower end content and it won't really matter. But when you make something too easy for the high end players, often it breaks a game.

Let's solve the vault issue and catalyst issue in the same 1-2 punch. Catalyst comes out week 2, 1 charge per week, and you can choose your own secondary stats from the catalyst.

You should be able to choose what kind of group it is, if you create/join a "full run" group you should be punished somehow for leaving. Then you'll be incentivized to check if there's someone who is getting boosted in the group before you enter the dungeon etc, etc. Some way to make sure everyone is on the same page and ofc also allow for exceptions, aka sometimes you just have to leave, or people grief you, etc. so obviously you shouldn't be harshly punished for leaving just a couple times a week~

Tides better have a patch for the elevator. That would make that instantly F tier. Its already going to be a C at best between all the waiting on bossea and gauntlets. All the other dungeons will come down to numbers but tides is worrying. I think waycrest door rng just needa to remove the 2-3 worst routes, i think FH lost a lot not being differrlent bosses and trash

It's just sad what they've done to spriest and continue to do. Nerfing damage 2 or 3 times, and now nerfing PI. Damage wasn't even the issue. IDC if they strictly made PI castable only on self, just revert all the damage nerfs, nerf Mass Dispel idc. It's too late now, they've made up their minds; I've already committed to main a different class for next tier. I was enjoying playing spriest again, but it was short lived.

The reason spriest was part of the meta was not strictly damage (it may have been upper end, but not top), it was all the utility they provide along with providing PI to fire mages and I already said IDC if they change PI to be cast only on yourself so IDK why you're flipping out, maybe you should take a nap Ms. Crabby pants. Notice how spriest wasn't meta until aug came out or haven't you seen the data? I would think you've seen the data considering it was shown a few times in this video, but perhaps you missed it. Nerf mass dispel and mind soothe, and change PI to only self and watch as spriest falls out of the meta because they're NOT top damage. Jesus, eat a Snickers bar, you're not yourself when you're hungry.

A big change I think they should make to this place is start you off at the top of the elevator at the gauntlet. Then let you use the teleporter after the 2nd boss and have it put you have the current start. Then we skip the elevator all together without having to completely change stuff / deal with a stupid rp like mechanic on the timer. Also pulling that gauntlet hall way in one go and lusting while doing with 4 or 5 healer would be toxic and pretty fun.

I know it will never happen but personally, I think any leggo should be tied to a quest not the raid any any specific boss etc etc, because we all know that the leggo is going to be BIS for anyone that can use it. And it isn't going ti feel great if you are euther locked completely out of your BIS, nor will it feel good if the BIS is so damned good that a lower ilvl version of it beats any other higher ilvl weapon. It already happened with the other BIS 2h weapons and even the Evoker leggo... Just personal opinion though

Mana is absolutely real, it's just that the Rashok trinket exists. Do a raid with 2 healers, one with and one without, and you'll quickly see the difference in how they struggle. The trinket is already reduced in 10.2, so all of this mana talk is going to be hilarious when we go back to having to cycle constant potions on CD. Healers already hate their lives as is, so let's make it worse. Perfect!

I have played since day 1, and the most consistent thing in the community over all the years, is healers complaining about healing. because either you make the half that wants it to actually be real MMORPG healing happy, or you make the weird subset of ARPG players who want healing to be easy so they can also dps happy, and they can't both be happy

There should never be a point where you have to sit and wait to see if catalysing a piece of gear is the right choice or not. The vault should always prioritise tier set that you need rather than potential duplicates that you've catalysed or already had drop from the raid. Sidenote, gatekeeping power is beyond stupid. Let players play the game at whatever pace they want, there will always be people who sweat regardless. Just means i'll wait a few weeks, resub and then have everything ready to go as soon as i'm playing again, its just delaying the inevitable and provides no value to people who just want to play the season fast and go play whatever other games that are out there when they've finished with KSM and curve. I don't enjoy waiting over 7 weeks potentially to get full tier set, that's not rewarding or fun for that matter. Especially when you factor in paying £10 per month only to be power locked by a really bad decision. If you want player retention the answer isn't to put the brakes on players, the answer is to make fun and engaging content that the player base actually want to play. Seeing not enough crests due to cap or cant catalyse due to cap is literally like having to wait for pay day. This is a game, let it be a game.

Shadowlands did unfixable damage to WOW. The afterlife Idiology did not make any sense. Blizzard had 15 years worth of characters ( very popular btw) from Quests, Dungeons and Raids that we defeated or died through story content and they did not use. Why? Best Example so far of , Get Woke Go Broke.

The raid issues are to me, both accessibility but more importantly the lack of loot. If im going to put 4-8+ hours a week into an activity, especially having to form and teach people stuff there should be some reward. Since shadowlands, you were lucky to get a cup of 10 anima, and you could argue this means M+ is giving too high level ilvl loot, but even if you fill your vault for the week you will almost never take a Raid vault slot over a M+ slot unless your a mythic raider because the ilvl is comparatively horrible unless its a BIS trinket or tier (which still feels bad). If you have a guild, and you raid with the same 20 people every week, its not as bad because eventually you go from 5 people rolling on the few peices of loot that drops, to 2 the next week, to just you the next week and you get it. If you are pugging, or even in a guild.. most have no choice at this point but to bolster with alot of pugs.. so now your in a situation where you raid 5 weeks, you see the peice you need drop 3/5 times, and your rolling and potentially losing against 3+ people every week, and often times thats the only peice of loot you even have a chance to roll on.. so it feels pretty bad when you go weeks leaving pretty much empty handed.

Aug. bricked the season, I would’ve been game to fotm swap to it, but it is the most snoozer boring spec to play. The Mastery giving bonus duration to every utility spell is so cringe over powered and unnecessary.

I don't care how good you think PVP or M+ is, this game is raiding and that's where both the hardest content and best rewards should be. It's been that way since the original game was made by Everquest raiders. Luckily, there's enough other good raid specific items. This time.

The best part about legendary discussion is all the NPC Andy's trying to claim they are only bad because they dont have a legendary. The realistic reasons they are bad is because they die to mechanics when the boss is at 50%, dont know their rotation and priority, never use a personal, never use a healing pot or HS.....ya know minor things.

Nothing is special about raiding. It is built for single people with no job. Reduce the barrier to entry for mythic raiding. Create a solo shuffle for raiding content, pugging raiding right now is the most morbid experience. If you ever join a group with no warlock you may as well just leave.

Finding the right guild/group with shared goals/expectations makes all the difference. My group is all adults with full time jobs and families. We raid one night a week, so progress is slow but are still competent enough to clear all the content on all difficulties by the end of the tier.

I raid twice a week for 3h and have 5/9M. You don't have to be a nolifer to raid, that's a stupid opinion.
