3 combines don't do much good if they are sitting still waiting for 1 grain cart. Once you get behind it can be hard to catch up.
@TravisKepler8 жыл бұрын
The issue here was the lack of semis and complications with changing augers at the bin. The grain cart can keep up perfectly fine typically.
@freddeere53438 жыл бұрын
Yes I find 1 grain cart can keep up with 3 combines at a pinch in small grain providing there isnt too much distance from combines to the trucks and the cart driver is experienced !!

Amazing huge fields to do there. I like to know please what Drone do you use and is it a one person controled or two? i.e. one for the drone and one to control the camera? thanks :)
@TravisKepler8 жыл бұрын
Out typical field size is a 1/4 section or 160 acres. I have a DJI Phantom 3 Advanced, which uses only one operator. I was flying and controlling the camera simultaneously. My recent spraying video demonstrates much better flying/camera work.

was there a market for the wheat? here the transportation is $1.40/bu from field to west coast for export by unit train so we just about gave the wheat away. after seed fertilizer and combine cost. Divide the bu/ac by 14.92 to get t/ha.

There are to less grain karts and the john deere tractor is to slow to reach the harvester in time. So in my opinion they should use a 50 ore 60 km/h tractor and one more grain kart in the field. Good Video !

The thing you must not understand is this isn’t farming simulator these vehicles are very expensive and there is nothing wrong with waiting, that’s what farmers are good at is being patient, do you realize how farmers feel when the crop is ready to harvest but it’s raining or they are taking care of animals. It’s very hard work ✊

What the hell is the point of all the combines if they're just going to sit there because you can't unload them? How about instead of operating a drone you operate a tractor with another grain cart?
@TravisKepler7 жыл бұрын

Changing the auger may be why the trucks are slow returning to the field but two carts would be better. What happens when the cart goes down? Having two carts also minimizes the dead miles on the combines from workfare to the trucks aka more fuel efficient. I am a. Truck Driver not a farmer but I can spot an opps in logistics Nice having three combines but if their sitting waiting for the cart or traveling heads up to the truck to empty the bin then your wasting time and money ( fuel and machine time and labor) another cart would allow them to do what they are designed to do HARVEST GRAIN. If the combines fill the bin before the cart returns and has to stop your burning you just lost the advantage of having it in the field. If the auger is slowing down unloading at the unloading site for the trucks consider dumping the loads onto concrete or spread out tarps and using a loader With a.large bucket to feed the auger thereby releasing the trucks to haul more grain. Just mho

But I do agree for many other reasons that America is certainly mighty, great and extremely proud patriotic people , so what the hell happened with Donald America was already great and you allowed a man like him to tell you it wasn't ....
