Actually, Ripley was always supposed to make the basket in Alien Resurrection. It’s just they originally figured they’d just film Sigourney Weaver throwing the ball over her shoulder first then cut to a shot of the ball going in the basket or cgi it or something. They never expected Sigourney Weaver to actually make the shot in one take. And they actually had to cut to another shot fairly quickly, because in the original shot, after the ball went in, Ron Perlman looked directly at the camera and said “Oh my god!” in excited disbelief.

What did the Knights Tale director expect the Czechs to do??? Maybe he hoped they'd already seen the movie and knew when to cheer.

Most of the time the Director shoot a another shot of the crowd cheering. They would then edit it smoothly with after the scene of Chaucer’s speech. These videos always overlook the greatest movie mishap: In the African adventure movie "Hatari," Red Buttons interrupts John Wayne and Elsa Martinelli just before a kiss by barging into the room with a dinner platter. Buttons apparently doesn't see "Sasha" the leopard lounging near the doorway. Buttons steps on Sasha's tail, causing the leoapard to jump up and roar in pain. The roar frightens Buttons so much that the stumbles forward, crashing into John Wayne and spilling the dinner tray all over his chest. Martinelli totally loses it and start shrieking with laughter. Buttons does his best to stay in character, but also can't resist laughing. John Wayne, ever the professional, sucks in a deep long breath and holds it in, his body trembling with "anger." Buttons waits for Wayne to say something, but it's clear that if Wayne tries to say anything, he would burst out laughing. So the Duke shakes his head and angrily swaggers out of the room, never once losing control. It remains, in my opinion, the funniest mistake that ever made the final cut.

The thing with bloopers that they "left in", there is usually no continuity. Take the Cabaret blooper. When the guy hands her the plate and the cake slides off, you can clearly see that it drops into her lap. But the very next shot, the cake magically appears on her chest and next to her yellow scarf. So obviously they re-did it for her shot and her reaction isn't genuine because it isn't the original blooper.

In no country for old men, Sugar, however you spell it, didn't react to not creating a business from scratch. Instead, he was reacting to how insignificant this mans life was that he chose to waste it by working a rundown convenience store in the middle of nowhere that he married into. Like his life before marriage was even more pathetic than it is right now, and this was a step up for him. Edit: There is also the angle of the clerk just passively going through the motions instead of taking his life/fate into his own hands and having a purpose. This is still related to what I said before.
