The worse part is, he met a woman in church (lots of people go back to God when they're in the thick of hardship). And he kept saying (im paraphrasing) "this SECOND CHANCE will make things right". This "second chance" is for himself, not for the people he hurt, but his own selfish reason, and he's using a new woman to redeem himself,for himself. I feel bad for the new wife, cause she will be his care taker when he get skin surgery, and she will find out late, cause their relationship moved on very fast imo. He didn't give himself the chance to learn on his own and build his confidence without a rebound.

For him to talk to her that way, it sounded like he was mad that their child came first to her in that moment, now that her husband made it through the surgery. He deserved to get served with divorce papers for how he talked to her in that moment. After all she did for him, he treated her like scum. Bastard. A FRIENDS STORY - We had a couple we knew that both were at least 150lbs overweight each. They both had health issues because of their weight. They both decided to lose weight by working out and eating right. He kept up with it for 2 years and got in incredible shape. She gave up after 6 months and gained all her weight back and more. He kept trying to motivate his wife. We all did. Guess what, she started saying he was cheating on her. We know for a fact it wasn't true. I worked with him and we went to the gym after work together. She kept freaking out for months every day saying he was going to leave her. He eventually did. Not because of the weight. Because he didn't want to go home every day and deal with her crying and yelling. When it was her that was at fault. Not him. It was for the best. He was lucky, they never had any children. I think he would go back to her if she would go see a therapist like was recommended.

It is not your wife's job to take care of you. Or your Husbands. It is their job for you to love and cherish your partner. If you depend on them so much that your question is "Who will take care of me?" If they leave, you deserve to have them leave.
