I’ve tried learning regular crochet & failed. I saw her beginning Tunisian crochet video & I was actually able to understand & follow it easily. Now I’m making her fringe scarf for Christmas gifts. Thank you so much Toni for getting me into Tunisian. I’m hoping you can teach me regular crochet too! 😃

I love how easy it is to follow you tutorials 😍I've never tried tunisian crochet before but 3 mins into the video I'm like "why not just pick up a hook and give this a try" I'm glad I did! looking forward to exploring your other tunisian crochet patterns

Sorry for my bad English. Thanks for your simple tutorial, I, a 28-year-old geologist and my mother (we are from Turkey) learn and enjoy knitting. Thank you for your work as well as your tutorials. From my mom, she loves your colorful nail polish.

Hi all. I'm a 74yo yarn crafter and do crochet (regular and tunisian), knitting and loom knitting. Yarn crafts are addictive and fun. I usually work with patterns but check videos to make sure I am doing it right. So Toni, just to let you know, I went to Ravelry and bought your pattern. I don't care for fringe so usually do a simple crab stitch border. Just haven't quite figured out how to use it on the simple stitch chevron I am finishing.

I love this idea and the afghan. I really need a followup showing the changing colors every row with these increases and decreases. I know it’s a simple thing, but there are a LOT of them in this pattern!

I actually started as a crochet artist and moved into knits. I was so bad at it for a while, it took me between 15,000 to 30,000 stitches to start gaining confidence in the craft. I seem to be great with DPNs or massive straight needles

I've worked C2C stitch and it is lovely. But I never realised that you could do this with Tunisian crochet. Gorgeous. And possibly my next lapghan project. Much love.

Thank you for this video! You put out so much amazing tunisian crochet content, I've learned so much from you! I'm sorry if this is rude, but I would love to see a video about general increasing/ decreasing in tunisian crochet - your thoughts on pros and cons of different methods (e.g. decrease by skipping or working 2tog), and also increasing/ decreasing in different stitch patterns (I've been practising honeycomb and lattice stitch from your videos but can't work out how to inc/dec myself!!) I've found all your content so helpful and would love to keep learning from you!!

brilliant! I've only done C2C for baby blankets because a square blanket is either a mega bedspread or a sad blanket that's never long enough to cover your toes. Now it can be a snuggle blanket!

WOW I never saw Tunisian done on the bias. .but why not! This is great. Thank you 😊

Have seen your other older C2C tutes and tried one last night quickly but am looking for other increase/decrease possibilities--going to make a baby blanket so gathering ideas and Tunisian is top on my list, a bias Tunisian in multi stripes or maybe gradient--not sure, but your tutes are always helpful (as well as your book) and what pointed me to Tunisian--my other love is overlay mosaic and those 2 keep me interested in crochet.

You are a fabulous teacher! Thank you. Which do you prefer the very most - the Clover Tunisian hook and cord, or the Chiagoo Tunisian spin hook and cord? I can't get both and would really like you to tell me which of these you for sure prefer. Thanks again.

What are the pros/cons to this version vs doing yarn overs and working two stitches together like you did for the bias baby blanket? I'm honestly curious what differences would result in the two methods. Thanks!
@grannym28802 жыл бұрын
Was wondering the same. I'm thinking of just working the usual way of increase/decrease on a sample swatch and see if I still get a workable rectangle. Edit: I tried a swatch, it works fine using the original method. 🤷🏻♀️

Thanks Toni! I love Tunisian crochet…it is so fun. But I always ended up with a wonky pull to the fabric. I guess working on the bias is a good way to make dishcloths and blankets. Do you have any tips to get square corners without working on the bias? Love you channel!

Is the increase stitch on this project different than the rancher shawl? As in the placement for each increase, between stitches or the top bar of a stitch? Working on both of those patterns for makeitcal and hope I am getting them right!

how would you go about making a whole blanket with this pattern? my hooks ain't long enough
@dougphilips88072 жыл бұрын
The usual answer is interchangeable hooks with cords, but I think this would need a few long cords and connectors to join them all? Very curious how Toni did it!
@TLYarnCrafts2 жыл бұрын
I’ve got instructions on the type of hook and interchangeable cord you’ll need. Just one hook and one 32” cord 😁
@beckyann85022 жыл бұрын
That is a large afghan. How do you get all those stitches on a Tunisian hook when you get to the larger area? I can't imagine they all fit.
@TLYarnCrafts2 жыл бұрын
You’ll use an interchangeable hook to make it. A 32” cord on a standard Tunisian crochet hook will do the trick 😁
