Dog owners assume that just because their dogs are sweet and harmless towards them, they're that way towards the public. Bottom line, it doesn't matter if this delivery driver didn't show any signs of being attacked by the dog or whether he had a 'conversation' with the dog or vice versa, if he felt that his life was in danger, he was more than within his right to protect it as per the law!

Let's see if we have all the facts, shall we? He fired ONE shot, there were 2 dogs but the unaggressive one remains alive, the dogs were, strangely enough loose when she knew food had been ordered, and the crucial piece of evidence that would have condemned or exonerated the deliveryman was strangely inside being charged. The fact that he was not charged in any way is quite telling. As a dog-lover I feel for Angie and her family, but I don't think she will meet the preponderance of evidence threshold in this case.

It seems to me like the police did inform them and they are trying to spin the narrative because of their status. Police have now verified the shooter was bitten and did not file charges. If man didn't act in self defence charges would have been filed. Angie should have kept her dog in the house knowing she had a delivery coming yet refused to keep her dog and the delivery person safe.

It was released - Instacart. The delivery person was a fraud. They were using a fake social and fake profile with Instacart. Supposedly the profile showed a picture of a middle aged woman named Merle - which is not who this delivery guy was. Instacart has permanently banned him for fraud.

In my experience, as someone who has once attacked by a vicious pitbull. When I was attacked, my life was not in danger. I was able to loosen the bite of the pitbull, pick it up, and put it over a fence. Went to the hospital and got stitches. The Pitbull lived, end of story. A beagle and a Pitbull are completely different breeds of temperament and capability. Even if the driver is telling the truth, again, I believe he is not. A alleged aggressive beagle does not warrant life threatening Danger. They are like the little brothers of golden retrievers. Known for being docile and friendly. The driver obviously has an overt irrational fear of dogs. And, I'd venture to pose, he's full of 💩. One of my favorite actors, is Will Smith. Yes, the same Will Smith that slaps people...😅🤔. Look up that Will Smith movie where he has an awesome quote, differentiating fear VS danger. Bottom line, the delivery dude dude was trespassing falsifying credentials, and irrationally shot a dog. Keep your friggin dog inside if you’re getting a delivery of any kind! Not everyone is dog friendly I love dogs. Dogs are my life I work with dogs, but it’s your responsibility as an animal owner to be aware of someone’s coming to your house and put your fucking dogs up! That’s all on her. He doesn’t have to have marks on him to be afraid of a dog coming towards him barking some people don’t know whether that’s a friendly bark or not and some have PTSD from being attacked before, so that’s on the owners of this dog this is ridiculous.
