Most narcissist don’t have adhd. They are just unhappy with their work ethic and search for explanation/stimulants in order to play victim/take meds. Very accurate! The worst punishment is being alone with nothing to do for a Narc. I have been through 40 cars, many home improvements and homes, new hobbies/intersts and not just trying them out. When I found something, I liked, I went full throttle on implementing my newest discovery in any way possible. That hobby and interest died, and I moved on to the next. This could be women, new friends, pets, materialistic things and whatever I could find to take away the main issue of me not being happy in the end. I go through all types of phases of likes and new interests and want to compete to better than the person I just met. It’s crazy in the end, I am aware and cannot stop it however I have learned to control it with therapy and self-awareness. We are prisoners in our own mind, and nothing will make us happy full time. Only moments.

Well was he setting you up for a fight knowing you will get triggered by his “neglect” of the marriage? I mean you must have communicated to him 100 different ways your feelings and he must have just disregarded you to feel that way. So if that is the case, then who really instigated the fight? NPDs will never fully have true lasting happiness. Their “boredom” reason for finding that next high of what soothes their self-hatred (boredom) is similar to a baby incessantly crying until an outside source comes to soothe them. NPDs are unable to self-soothe their negative emotions and boredoms. They are also unable to just be in their quietness & peace because it forces them to think (NPDs worst nightmare--think about themselves).

Have you done anything on narcissistic amnesia/toxic memory/selective memory? This is one example. 2 years ago because of covid, my state only had absentee ballots. You could mail it in, drop it off at a special collection site at any time, or drop it off at a polling place the day of the election. My narc had a melt down over it. He demanded his right to vote in person on the day of the election using a voting machine. He insisted the absentee ballots were not secure. We spent a LONG time discussing where the special drop box was.....on the very next block.....walk down our block, make a right and a quick left...go half way down that block and the drop box was there....probably about a 3 minute walk. We went over it again and again. He couldn't understand where it was. 2 days later, he says to me----his buddy just told him about a special drop box for ballots and asked where it was for our town. He had no recollection (or so he says and acts) that we discussed it at length 2 days earlier...he really look confused like it was the 1st he heard of such a thing.... i know now that he is just blowing me off when we discuss things and can't be bothered to remember....there have been many other incidents....and then when i resorted to contacting his buddy/lawyer because he kept 'forgetting' something important...he went off saying it was the 1st and only time he forgot something. i was actually shocked tonight....he remembered something I needed him to do for our cats...now I am confused because that is unusual for him to remember....there were 2 other incidents recently regarding the cats when he forgot something they needed. also, for the longest time, i thought he had a legit hearing problem (he's about 60). he seems oblivious to things going on around him. he seems to be hyper focused on him and his interests (sports/finance)

'Boredom' isn't the true problem...it's an NPDs inability to 'emotionally' connect to life and people thus inability to derive 'meaning' from what activity they are doing and from the people they share their lives with..Alexythmia is at the root of that (which an Interoception curriculum/course can help them to develop).Activities and people NEED emotional investment to derive 'depth of meaning' from...which is why if you don't invest that you don't get the 'satisfaction' the 'satiation' from...it's just an 'empty shallow pursuit' WHICH IS WHY they are 'disatisfied' not 'bored' and move from one person ...activity..and to the next and the next because they aren't 'connected' to their 'own feelings and emotions.' Interoception course can change and heal that.

So he will be bored even more now. Apparently I triggered him and I am toxic so he left me and blocked me everywhere. Then I go to a friend's DJ set where he never wanted to go with me or take me, holy baby jesus he was there on time and didnt leave until I left. A friend told me he was looking for me.

Lee I have a question. After my first time relationship with a Narricist. Which is my X now. I feel our situation turned him on how to pray more easy on other woman who have a past. Single mother with children. Trying to make it. When before me his X was so head over heals questioned nothing. The love bombing made her so blinded to who he really was, she never figured it out before she left. With me I got side swipped too but I put the pieces together over time. Finally seeing what he really was. I wasn't love gaga over him and I questioned many things. I did have love for him but not the blind side. I questioned alot. Finally I figured it out. I was put in the discard faze and devaluing began. Can you touch down on how they hone their disorder so to speak. Like start to really learn how they can fool more people. Before a lot of work needed to be done to fool others. Now it seems as if they learned how to pray more better. Is this wrong to feel this way?

Nope they get better through practicing. Practice makes perfect. They also find out what your passions are so they can take them from you.

My narc just told me this morning I ruined his Father’s Day! After asking him to put on one of those porn videos he has in his fone he be watching, lied said he doesn’t watch poem and hasn’t in month blah blah blah, I pull out his fone he ask me to show him the proof. Scrolled back to my birthday when I was at work and out of town earlier that day and boom! All meetup, back page, tender, u name it plus regular porn sites all down his timeline. Even with proof, I ruined HIS DAY??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣funny thing is I seriously just wanted him to share what turns him on with me, but nope, I get lies upon lies upon lies!

Snap...narc gets phone call from new male fuel source (gym buddy: reminds him of his ideal younger self / son who cut him out) he turned to me: chop chop he wants breakfast let's go...we are still in bed and what I would like to do was irrelevant. That was the LAST straw. Told him enjoy your new supply it won't last long as he is a massive narcissist too and we both know narc on narc friendship don't last. They discussed me behind my back, young guy was jealous of him spending time with me, after he took offence at my realist response to question he asked (I'm a multiple BB champion and he asked how ready is he for a comp and I was honest that he had a long way to go - that was a narc injury to him). Told him to find himself a purpose. Started an autobiography: ghostwriter writes it, I was editing it - he did sweet FA. I have a purpose - my art, astrology and I am never bored but he simply doesn't understand the concept. His 'ex' would try to reinvent herself and stil failed to hold hist attention past a few weeks. They are thieves of joy. You suggest things that might help them but by default as it is me who suggested it he rejects it.
