Hello! I have a solution to make intarsia knitting sooo much better. When you do a knit row, don't juggle the yarns around and let them tangle when changing colors. And then do the purl row by rotating the piece clockwise and then purl as you usually would. When you're done, rotate it back counter-clockwise and its untangled👍🏼

Hope it helps☺

I would love an e-book with some of your patterns. I have a hard time finding pattern books that I like, and we like similar knit styles. Just think about it!

It's so funny to me to hear you feel uncertain about crochet like I am about knitting.. You're the one who inspired me to try knitting. And now I haven't crocheted anything since Christmas when I did a mosaic blanket for my parents.. my first mohair just arrived and I got my first petiteknit pattern hahahaha. I'm just copying.

I also wanted to say I’m so glad you’re doing inclusive sizes. I knit a 2x normally and it’s so frustrating to see patterns that are on size or only go up to a L or XL. I am a new knitter and have no idea how to alter a pattern to fit me.

Omg you sound like me right before I burn myself out lol. I think a lot of creative types go through these spurts of ideas and we are so inspired that we end up overwhelming ourselves and then we burn out. I’m also going through a creative race but it’s a bit more focused. Mid 30’s and 4 kids later you learn to organize your creativity a bit more thoughtfully. But dang girl get it while you have the time. I always get bummed because I just don’t have as much time as I’d like to be creative. It took me 3 days to make a project bag last week when pre kids I would have made it in a couple hours.

That green tank dress and mohair dress will be killer!!! And you’re right there is definitely a lack in stylish basics in the fiber arts sphere. There’s either super duper trendy pieces, matronly pieces, or plain basics that aren’t body conscious and chic. I love your vision and where it is going. It’s inspiring me but I’m channeling it into crochet. Keep it up doll! Also: it would be amazing if you could translate your patterns into crochet, if that’s possible?

i think i would prefer you releasing your website with only a few patterns and adding them along the way, a big release would be fun aswel but in my opinion might be a bit overwhelming, if you release it sooner we can knit some patterns while you add more, if that makes sense? either way, EXCITING

Lmao “should I stick n poke myself?” I had a phase like that. I can’t stop wanting to start doing new things. Be careful what you do tho. Stick n poke tattoos go away eventually but some things scar forever. I was obsessed with doing my own piercings and I totally jacked up my navel

I haven't tried the merino but the KFO Mohair is to die for - feels really luxurious and so far it holds up pretty well. It sheds less than drops kid silk for sure.

I know what you mean I always wanna start so many projects but have so little time 😭 I’m still knitting my cardigan but I have so many ideas for other things I want to knit and crochet and sew... I’m in the middle of two big paintings and have a list of other drawings I want to do 😂 it’s spring soon and I have a lot of gardening to do soon so I’m planning that along with trying to learn two languages I want to learn and also find time for reading the books I like and playing animal crossing 👀👀 and then I’m always thinking about other things I want to do ...help
@livismith50072 жыл бұрын
Ooh! I’m okay excited for your collection of patterns. That tank is so awesome Edits: ooh and that dress! I love it. Idk how you constructed it but I hope maybe I can do it without a hole. I’ll most likely need a bra to wear, not only is my chest kind of big but I’ll have a baby by summer and breast milk leakage is no joke (tmi sorry). I suppose I could wear a cute bralette with lace and a racerback. Idk. Where I’m from the midi summer dresses with cut outs are a common outfit but they’re seen as “ghetto”. Not saying this design is, I like it I’m just a bit weary on how I’ll be perceived wearing it
