People this was Alex saw himself. He did not want to play for Atlanta. He wanted to go to Washington because he thought it was the best first career because when he didn’t come off the bench he wanted to play. He wanted to be developed and he wanted to be in Washington and he said it many times since the draft, so I’m sorry if he didn’t wanna go to Atlanta, but that is the case and Shea I believe in the long one will be into being a better fit in the long run then sarr would be in in the first place

You more than likely are right! Looking at the situation after 2 days, I'm sure the Hawks fans are cool with that. Many people did not like his offensive game and did not think he was worth the #1 pick. Congrats to Washington and to him!

Steve Francis wasn’t proven either and he refused to go to the Grizzlies. No difference, he don’t want to be in a dungeon not winning.

Sarr isn’t sitting out if the Hawks pick him. Being the #1 pick, you can make up to 2 million more per contract than the next guy. He has no leverage. Things aren’t the same today with the current CBA as it was when Francis played.

Depending on what the Hawks decide with Cappella this off season it’s not a stretch to say he wouldn’t play the 4 for us. Plus Jaylons growth may allow him to slide to the 3 especially considering if we trade Hunter and even if we don’t trade Hunter he has been injury prone his whole career.
