It’s hard to believe that it’s the traction motors that are sweating, doing the work, the diesel engine just ..‘pedals’…faster to produce more ..‘sparks’…to cane the traction motors!

Can anybody explain to me why British rail was basically starved of funding and these private companies receive big fat subsidies ???????? Anybody.
