Let's see -- God is supposed to be all-power and all-knowledge yet humans like this have to tell Him what He is?

If someone does something so impactful for you that it forever alters the trajectory of your life in a positive direction, what response do you have? Is it meh, pfft… or do you have only good things to say about said person. Do you say thanks once or are you forever grateful? Just a thought
@darz38299 ай бұрын
@@stvnswld Many people are positively influenced by parents, teachers, mentors, strangers, relatives, co-workers, and countless others - God or Jesus not among them. And Yes, one might occasionally think about their effect on one's life, but it's unnatural to continually fawn thanks to someone....even insulting.

@@darz3829 I’m taking about more than being a positive influence. Let’s think bigger, how could you ever thank someone enough who stepped in front of a bullet to save one of your children?
@darz38299 ай бұрын
@@stvnswld Are you considering that God can step in front of a bullet? I think there are/were millions of soldiers and innocent bystanders who couldn't relate to that (but probably prayed to God futilely during those times)
@stvnswld9 ай бұрын
@@darz3829 You asked the original question about people feeling compelled to tell God who he is, though He knows. I am quite simply offering perspective regarding gratitude and how people feel it and express it in other areas of life as an analogy to why people feel compelled to praise Jesus in thankfulness for what he has done. Why do some people get sick and some do not? Why are some privileged with long life and others are cut short? Why are some offered physical healing and others are not? What does it all matter anyway? I’m just some random wackjob that commented on your comment 😂 You certainly appear to be smarter than me and can probably prove it without sweating much.

I don't agree with that kind of Christian concert...that should be lighted because Christ is the light not darkness...so it's a fake worship...Mat.7;21-22

L take. Do you not understand metaphor? Who created both light and darkness?
@ChrisSamuel17298 ай бұрын
Every evening-time meeting for the early church, was a low-light meeting. They sang with minimal lights, praising the Father of Lights, the Light of the World, and the Holy Spirit who illuminates every heart.

What has the light has to do with the worship or lyrics of the song?? Tell me how you do yours
