Intolerance is when you glorify brutal rulers such as tipu sultan and celebrate him despite protests of the descendants of the hindus who were persecuted by him.the insensitivity of the state government is mind boggling

Referring to Jawaharlal Nehru as the 'icon of tolerance' is an example of indoctrination.

👍In the US, if they want to do namas in any public space, they should get prior approval from the government. So also in Australia, etc, and the communist countries. India is the only Hindu democratic country that allows namas in public places without requiring any permission and still our media and some cinema actors say there is intolerance and hatred in our country. So, what do those journalists want? It’s clear they want to incite the Muslims

The interviewer is referring to article in Financial Times. For instance recently an article - Modinomics is yet to deliver for many in India.......- was published by Financial Times as an op-ed. This article is a downright 'Canard' and no more. As we speak there is an exhaustive rebuttal to the same (A series of 8 articles - each point raised in Financial Times article is a separate article) is being presented in steemit media (look for 'ajain' in search on steemit and the series of articles FT rebuttal will appear. Three articles have already been published and the other five will follow. The interviewer raising those articles shows how this whole ecosystem works. Lutyen gang - NY times - Financial Times -- etc etc .

how can you make rajiv gandhi institute of research as an 'independent think tank' if your views are either on the left or right?

Karan Thapar, are you an independent reporter? Certainly, No. Just quoting Washington Post, New York Times doesn't make your verbal gymnastics perfect. You must have seen the agenda of these foreign News Papers.

Did these people return their award as well as the money they received??? Did they have anything to say when the Kashmiri pundits were driven out of their land and became refugees in their own country?? No reaction???

Karan Thapar, you are biased. Nehru was an icon of tolerance. Karan peddles all lies to save Nehru and his family.

Minute 29:00 is the crux of the whole interview. Has intolerance become worse since May 2014? The answer is 'No'. The interviewer being died in wool G family supporter finds it hard to accept the same because it does not fit in with the narrative being put forth by the Lutyens gang. And obviously, they do so at the behest of G family. Even PM Modi has said in his interview to Ms Smitra Prakash of ANI recently that 'Intolerance' has no place in society (Jan 2019). He also questioned the narrative whether intolerance is something that has come about recently or say after May 2014? He goes on to say that it has been there since long and the first part of the interview here clearly brings that out.
