Something that Jerry does during that jams that I enjoy just as much or even more is incorporating an octave sound with and without the filter. Give it a try especially if you love that Cornell 77' vibe.

Just adding to the chorus...Thanks so much Davvy!!! As a guy that has been playing guitar since I was 15 years old (29 years) and with very few lessons along the way, I find your way of teaching to be so much easier to follow than most others. Your lack of theory based teaching (to an extent...I know there is some theory in there) vs. someone like, say, Michael Palmisano (whom I adore), who tends to lose me a lot of the time, really works for my less than average brain, lol. Thanks again for all you do!

Davvy, dude you are the man. So glad i found your channel. Been learning and playin dead tunes for the last couple years. I wish i would have found your channel sooner!! love the humor and you always kill it. I haven't delved through all of your videos yet but would love a video on jerry licks and chromatics. I make up loops and shit and jam by myself, would love a "Jerry-isms" video on your thoughts on how he traversed the fret board and your take on it as well. kind of "in the mindset" of how you look at playing over chord progressions. its a broad topic i realize but chromatics and playing changes is difficult for me.

Also know a few scale patterns including the blues box house pattern. But, I feel like I'm at a wall.. for finding rythum I feel like Steve Martin in the jerk where he can't clap to the rythum.
