JT, Hoglander, Petterson, and Hughes all had excellent games! Garly came up big at the end there as well, but Hoglander especially stood out through the entirety of that game

McDavid was in attack mode and Myers was in defend mode. Having said that, neither will get a game. They won't suspend McDavid for that, no way and Myers wont be suspended when they let McDavid off.

@ that isn’t how penalties work first off. Secondly, i’m not sure that’s even true. Aside from petterson, i’d say mcdavid gets just about the most penalties drawn in the league. Refs are constantly missing calls on mcdavid.

Oilers should have finished the game 6 on 4 for at least 35 seconds. After another half minute of a goon nobody holding and obstructing the best player in hockey, McDavid simply reacted to that abuse the exact way the total lack of officiating supported. And it all happened in the slot in front of the net....not off in a corner where it might go unseen. No other sports league allows their marquee players to be endangered and abused....They do the exact opposite (see: Mahomes) The NHL is a JOKE.

Horrible officiating in this game AND others tonight as well. Most of the time they get it right but the HOLDING DOWN of McDavid was unforgivable. Connor Garland has recently become one of my favourite players because he NEVER STOPS. I sure do get why McDavid was pissed at the lack of a penalty…

the funniest part of this is how I see mainly oilers fans whining about the reffing... weird how there's different perspectives. both cross checks were unwarranted and both players should get a sussy, that's it. The oilers definitely weren’t the looked gas and rightfully so four games in six nights travelling across four time zones. They are still 19-5-1 in their last 25 games so I’ll take it but it’s unfortunate the five loses are to non playoff bad teams like Vancouver, Chicago, Anaheim and Pittsburgh

i love Hronek's perfect dish pass to Draisaitl for Oil's first goal ... it didn't show it that well in highlites (big surprise...being edited by tools who obviously don't fully understand the game) but Hronek's composure was non existent ... realize he's rusty, but this goes for ALL our D (except of course Captain Hughes, who doesn't need this explained to him) To constantly watch Myers, Soucy, Deharnias, Forbort, and sometimes Hronek...just panic and throw the puck right back to the other team instead of having NHL level composure with the puck....LITERALLY makes me want to take a break from watching this team.. ..it is simply too painful to watch....no wonder the forwards are bone dry, they NEVER get the puck passed to them unless Hughes is on the ice....fire the Defensive coaches, get new D...DO SOMETHING FOR CHRISTS SAKE ..even bring up your farm team D....I guarantee it wouldn't be worse
