I looked at the links you gave for the test, thank you. Is there just one level for the test? In other words do I have to speak, listen, read and write perfect Chinese before attempting the test? Or are there gradient tests (like a test for A1 - A2 proficiency, another one for A2 - B1 proficiency etc.) I couldn’t find data on that. Also I have a great app for practicing for the HSK in China which is very helpful, but everything written is in simplified writing, and a few differences in terms (things like taxi and “where” for example) as well as differences in accents (most voices sounds like North China to me.)

Maybe this answer finds you too late but TOCFL has 6 levels so far. They are divided into 3 bands by two. They somewhat correspond to A1-C2 but are more difficult than HSK. Currently, there is an option of CAT where you choose a starting band and then based on your answers you can go up, or down.

Hello, mrs.Lin! I have got a question for you and I know isn't relatable to the video you're posting. I would like to study 国语 in Taiwan, but there's a big issue regarding that. I am from Albania and since our both countries don't have any diplomatic ties, consequently don't have any embassy to represent our countries. So, how can I apply to study in Taiwan when there's no diplomatic ties? Do you have any suggestion or recommendation because I do believe that there are other students from countries which haven't recognized Taiwan and studied 国语. I want to know how can I proceed with the procedures since there aren't any Taiwanese culture Institute in Albania such as Confucius Institute which enable people to obtain scholarships. I love to study there because is such a great country 🇹🇼

Hey Rooney, Studying you meant studying for university/master degrees? Or simply language learnings? Many of students learn Mandarin first in the language center from Taiwan Normal University or Chinese culture university. Then they pass TOCFL to apply for universities. So I think your priority is to get the TOCFL certificate first:) Have you looked for it already? I also suggest to look into it deeper. I know this instagram account regularly post news about studying Taïwan so please have a look. Perhaps try to ask questions with them? ! instagram.com/study_in_taiwan?igshid=q7ivs9xde9eg Yes I highly recommend study in Taiwan!!💗Good luck with you!

@@MandarinWithMissLin Yes, I want to study for language, which in this case is 国语。That's my ultimate purpose. I know that there are many steps and maybe I have to encounter a tons of procedures and bureaucracy. That's my genuine concern. That's the point: where to get TOCFL certificate? Anyway, 多感谢 for your help.
謝謝😊Thank you! Do not hesitate to share my videos with other learners.

So "de hua" means something like "supposedly" by itself? Can we use it in other ways? Like, " Ta de hua zhu zai zhong guo, danshi wo bu xiangxin. " ?

unfortunately in English French or German we don't say "drink soup". We say "eat soup" even though its a liquid. Also unfortunately they only eat their soup with a spoon and never use bowl as a cup.
