I don't know why people are so mad with this movie. The first 1 hour of the movie is so well done that you completely believes that Elvis is an amazing and sweet man, you even forget that he met her and kissed her when she was 14 and he was 24, he knew a fan that young would do anything for him but you still sit there watching and feeling like it's a romance. When he hits her for the first time is so scary, it's so out of nowhere, it's terrifying. I loved the movie, it made me fall in love with Elvis and then start to feel afraid of him. Priscilla loved Elvis but on trying to love and accept his vulnerability, she ended up loving and accepting his violence. I'm not saying he was a bad person, I'm saying he was someone that could not feel sadness without expressing in form of aggression towards his partner. Jacob was excellent on it.

Can’t trust Priscilla she sued Vernon ( Elvis dad ) after Elvis passed away & before Vernon passed and again Priscilla sued Lisa estate after Lisa passed. Priscilla approved means nothing. 2nd Elvis & me movie sadly even that didn’t portray Elvis in a good light & Priscilla says ‘ Elvis is the love of my life ‘ - where is the proof ???? I could care less about him and his acting being Priscilla approved, she'll do anything to make money from Elvis and his children and grandchildren bc she can't do anything on her own and just watching some of the clips, how she represents herself... seriously,lol... how arrogant and full of thelmself can a person be?!! However, I really adore this young man. He's humble and sweet as ever and earning his title as an actor. I'm sure we'll see more of him. I'm sorry, I should not have taken away from your comment... and I need to be nicer regarding Priscilla just because it's the right way to be about people... just watching and listening to her all of these years, she is fake and that's my opinion.

He's so much more accurate at Elvis's voice than Austin. Austin did amazing but at times it was more of a caricature at times and over the top, Jacob does it so natural. They both are great actors can't wait to see this movie!

We know HER descriptions of the relationship, she's been babbling about it for decades, and Elvis has been, and continues to be judged by it. There is nothing less objective than a story about a failed relationship, told by the person that wanted out. That applies to everybody. Now you take a big name like Elvis Presley, you put out a movie based on the story told by the ex-wife, made by a Hollywood feminist producer that adds on own twist to it (6'5 giant Elvis and 4'11 miniature Priscilla) and people will be influenced to think this is the real story, the real Elvis, "both sides" .

Shame on Priscilla for coming out with a movie that focuses on her as a victim and Elvis as a villain. Lisa spent her whole life protecting her dad’s name and legacy!! Elvis has been gone 47 years and Priscilla the ex wife has lived a lavish lifestyle off the Presley name. It’s sad and so disrespectful to Elvis to put out a movie for the new generation of people that don’t know the real truth! I know the height is taller than Elvis, and also know that this film director utilize this extra height to make Elvis seem more looming and towering over Priscilla and mean perhaps. He seems lovely and a very talented young actor. I just think it's a shame Sofia Coppola is rehashing an old '80s TV movie based on Priscilla Presley's sketchy (at best) memoir "Elvis and Me." Priscilla is known to have taken generous liberties with her personal history and just with the story of how she actually met Elvis. Don't take my word for it, look into it yourself.
