Todd White recently said that he has not told one single lie since he claims to have been saved 18 years ago. He claims to have reached sinless perfection. But in today’s podcast we will see that the claim he is making not to have lied is in and of itself a lie. We will further explore what the Bible has to say about indwelling sin in the believer.

I think it is disgusting for you to go after other Christians, as if you're the judge of them. And you build a ministry on tearing down others. Why don't you start a campaign to start praying for these ministers instead of destroying them?? If any of these persons got off track, the biblical procedure is to go to them privately first. Then they won't listen to you, take two or three other deacons with you to talk privately to them. And then, if they refuse to listen, leave them alone. And pray for them. Remember the scripture says that 'love covers a multitude of sins. Rather than airing out all this to the general public, all you are doing is confusing people and keeping them out of God's Kingdom! This is wrong! Do it biblically. After all, wouldn't you want someone to come to you privately if you are in error rather than exposing it to the world? If God called them, then God will handle it. Ok? You are not doing God's work, you are working for the other side, dividing and conquering! It is shameful to see this, and the world laughs at how disorganized and divided the Body of Christ has become. Who would want to join this mess? We are to Love one another, that is the Supreme Command by Jesus Himself. This should be a private matter, not public. No where in the Bible is there a ministry of attacking other ministers you don't agree with. I pray for you, Brother!

Let's break your comments down just a bit in the hopes that people see this because it will be helpful given that I see sentiments like yours expressed regularly. I'll quote you directly and then respond and will even number them for easy reference. Let's begin: 1. "And you build a ministry on tearing down others" - This is false. My first commitment in ministry is to expositional preaching. I preach scripture and I preach the Gospel literally all over the world. KZbin is but one small facet of my ministry and even at that, the great majority of my videos do not even deal with false teachers. 2. "Why don't you start a campaign to start praying for these ministers instead of destroying them??" - I do pray for these false teachers. I've said that many, many times. And, in every video in which I directly confront a false teacher I always end by pleading with them to repent. I give them the Gospel. I tell them that I do not hate them - I actually love them. I just love them enough to tell them the truth unlike people who do not love them enough to tell them the truth. As for "destroying them" that is not what I am doing. I am exposing their false doctrine, exposing the harm they are doing to people and to the Gospel; and this I do in obedience to the command of scripture. 3. "If any of these persons got off track, the biblical procedure is to go to them privately first. Then they won't listen to you, take two or three other deacons with you to talk privately to them." - You cite (very loosely) Matthew 18:15-20. This text deals with church discipline, the first command Jesus gives to His church. The context is the local body; local churches. Todd White has not sinned against me personally so Matthew 18 does not apply. Further, public teaching is open to public critique. Todd White's teaching is very public and is, therefore, open to public critique, as is mine (which you have done here). Additionally, I'm not sure where you get "deacons" from as the text says nothing about deacons. 4. "And then, if they refuse to listen, leave them alone. And pray for them." - You should probably read Matthew 18:15-20 because the text says nothing about 'leaving them alone.' In fact, it states the exact opposite. If the sinning person does not repent on step 2 of church discipline, then step 3 is to "tell it to the church" (vs. 17). This means that you are supposed to stand up before the entire gathered assembly on a Sunday morning and tell them of this specific person's sin. Jesus instructs to do the exact opposite of what you said. Once the local body is informed, there is a season in which the local body goes to that person and if he still refuses to repent, then he is "treated like a Gentile and tax collector." In other words, he is put out of the church and not to be considered a believer. 5. "Rather than airing out all this to the general public, all you are doing is confusing people and keeping them out of God's Kingdom! This is wrong! Do it biblically" - Per what I wrote above, it is you who is not doing things biblically. 6. "After all, wouldn't you want someone to come to you privately if you are in error rather than exposing it to the world?" - You mean like you did (not) do with me? Did you contact me privately before rebuking me publicly and "exposing it to the world," (to use your words)? No, you did not. I have a very public website with very public contact information. You could have come to me privately first and practice what you preach but you did the exact opposite. Don't feel badly, every single person who has said the same things to me as you has also failed to follow their own advice. It never fails. Literally 100% of the people who use your arguments (and believe me, there have been many, many, many) are playing the hypocrite because not a single one of them actually does what they tell me to do. I find it to be hilariously comical that none of you ever seems to be able to see your own glaring hypocrisy in this. 7. "If God called them, then God will handle it. Ok?" - God did not call them. They are false teachers. They clearly fall well within the biblical parameters of a false teacher. Further, (and I do not know if you are aware of this) you are at least alluding to Gamaliel's advice in Acts 5. Gamaliel's advice was bad advice for 2 main reasons. a) Gamaliel was not a believer. So to follow Gamaliel's advice is to follow the advice of a lost person. Not a good idea. b) Gamaliel's advice does not even pass the common sense test because false religions abound. If Gamaliel's advice was good advice, then why do we still have Buddhism? Mormonism? Jehovah's Witnesses? Islam? 8. "You are not doing God's work, you are working for the other side, dividing and conquering!" - Let's take a look at Romans 16:17 to see who is actually doing the "dividing." Romans 16:17 states, "Now I urge you, brethren, mark those who cause divisions and hindrances contrary to the doctrine which you learned and stay away from them." The Apostle Paul is talking about false teachers. And who is causing the division? False teachers. It is not those who teach the truth who cause division, but rather those who teach error and heresy. 9. "It is shameful to see this, and the world laughs at how disorganized and divided the Body of Christ has become. Who would want to join this mess?" - As for the division and disorganization, see above. But more to the point, the "mess" as you describe it is caused by false teachers. It is disheartening that it does not seem to bother you much if any that very popular teachers with massive platforms teach blatant heresy, offer literally thousands of false prophecies and bring untold reproach upon the name of Christ. It does not seem to bother you that these popular prophets made a laughingstock out of Christianity in the last few years with their spectacularly wrong prophecies about who would win the 2020 election and then about Covid. It does not seem to bother you that they are manufacturing false signs and wonders, manipulating and exploiting millions upon millions of their followers for personal financial gain. And, worst of all, it does not seem to bother you that they have taught a false gospel to untold millions for decades. The only thing that seems to bother you is when people like me point it out. That is truly sad. 10. "No where in the Bible is there a ministry of attacking other ministers you don't agree with. I pray for you, Brother!" - Fun fact: 26 of the 27 books in the New Testament directly warn about false doctrine and/or false teachers. Only the short little book of Philemon does not. And the vast majority of those 26 books have many warnings. There are literally hundreds of warnings about false doctrine and false teachers in the New Testament. No one warned about them more than Jesus Himself. So, I am left with either taking your advice or obeying the commands of scripture (Romans 16:17; Titus 1:9; Ephesians 5:11; 2 John 9-11, just to name a few of the hundreds). I must choose the latter. Well, when I began this, I did not know it would come out to 10 responses, but that worked out rather nicely. I hope this helps you see and understand how unbiblical your thinking is. It is not just you, as I said. Many, many, many people have said the exact same things as you to me. You are far from alone, unfortunately. I really do hope this helps you, though, Little John. As for praying for me and calling me your brother, your blistering attack is hardly how one approaches someone he considers to be his "brother." I will pray for you, Little John. I genuinely will.

Your ministry has been a blessing to me! Thank you for all you do! Your response to this person was well said. It saddens me that so many people are deceived. Your ministry has shed so much light on false teaching that I was not aware of and didn’t realize it was this popular. It definitely has seeped over into the “supposed to be” biblical ministries and has been for a long time and most don’t even know it because it has been so subtle. I’m glad the Lord has opened my eyes to this.

Chiropractic work is considered a pseudoscience because information on it wasn’t obtained by medical observation but rather occult practices; the information was channeled. This isn’t to say that your husband is deliberately doing something wrong and I’m sure there’s something to be said about certain treatments, but the practice of getting rid of air pockets isn’t actually medically backed and was in fact obtained via demons. Worth looking into and encouraging him to find something adjacent that’s scientifically backed…maybe massage or ergonomics?

Oh come on. That reminds me of the leftists who want us to think about how a word was used 100 years ago even though it means something different now. If you’re not adding a spirituality or talking about “chakra alignment” then you’re just getting people’s bones aligned in a medical setting. Even further I don’t believe Yoga is anything more than stretching, except for when you add the spirituality and the kundalini nonsense to it, which unfortunately the vast majority of yoga people do that and technically it’s a part of the practice; a Christian can still use the stretches on their own as a medical/health benefit.

You unfortunately don't understand this verse you quoted. Read carefully..........."if we say we *HAVE* not sinned"....... that is past tense. So if you say you have never ever sinned at any time in your life, you make Him a liar. But it does not mean you have to sin today! 1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye *sin not.* And *IF* (not *WHEN)* any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous I suggest you purchase the small book "Go and Sin No More" by Michael Hollner which will help give you an introduction into this very importnat principle that almost the entire church is failing on, as they are yet carnal and not walking the Spirit. Backsliding is a lack of commitment, not holiness. I’ve been there many times. When I fully committed I “lost” the “desire” to sin. I still sin, but unwillingly, because of the flesh. I was in church since I was a small child and off and on during my adulthood. I sinned got saved again, or thought I was saved, then sinned again, willingly. It wasn’t until my complete commitment that it all changed. Most of my life I “tried” to be a Christian because I didn’t want to go to hell, now I do it because I truly love God and want to go to heaven. Although my flesh remains intact I do not want to sin or enjoy it when I do, but ask God’s forgiveness right away. I ask the Holy Spirit to guide my thinking, because if I lead myself, I will be lost.

There is a testimony of a gentleman I prayed for back in 1987 who was carried into a church meeting (by four guys) on a mat, because he could not walk. I recall walking by him, and the Lord quickened my heart to pray for him. I asked another brother to join me in the prayer, and we both prayed for him as he was lying on the mat. Within seconds after we began praying for him, one of his legs grew out (and mind you, we did not even touch his legs or feet; meaning, we did none of the leg-pulling trickery). I knew the instant his leg grew out, Jesus had healed him. Subsequently, I told him to get up. He got up and ran around the inside perimeter of the building jumping, leaping and praising God. God touched that man, and he was completely healed.

@@tonyakucey42The problem with defining it that way is that the heart is so deceitful that it can convince someone that a certain sin wasn’t willful when it actually was. Or vice versa, someone may struggle with a sin they don’t willingly want to do yet they feel condemned by their conscience because it’s habitual enough that they don’t realize when they do it. Sticking to biblical definitions helps avoid these pitfalls.

Someday prophesy, and speaking in unknown languages, and special knowledge-these gifts will disappear. Now we know so little, even with our special gifts, and the preaching of those most gifted is still so poor. But when we have been made perfect and complete, then the need for these inadequate special gifts will come to an end, and they will disappear. My mom was saved when I was about 3 or 4. It took my dad until I was 21. The reason my dad got saved, in part, is because my mom changed churches and started going to one where the pastor was very real, meaning he didn't elevate himself above the congregation. He admitted before the church on Sunday's frequently how he had sinned that week (such as speaking harshly to his wife) and how he had repented. He walked people through what it means to admit your sin, repent, and be renewed. And how to continue to purpose not to sin and work to be like Jesus. But to realize we will stumble. Just keep your eyes on the goal and keep trying. Now at that same church...they did bring in a faith healer and I had the whole leg grow out thing done on me. It seemed pretty real at the time. But yet, I continued to truly have one leg longer and the associated back issues. (I always dealt with one pant leg appearing shorter than the other due to my crooked body.) It was exciting at the time but then reality kicks in. It was all a show. I was not truly healed. This was around 1982. Todd White has always set off my spiritual alarm bells.

Don’t accept it as just having a big mouth or something. It’s a real sin against the thrice holy god - every time you do that. It’s not something to make fun of, it’s a serious thing. I was addicted to pornography earlier. I was saved but I did this sin ever and ever again. And I hated it every time when I finished. Then I started getting good biblical counselling and that showed me what lies I believe that tell me that I need that disgusting pornography. God let me break my idol, helped me destroy the lies that I believed. And then I got free. Not fully free from temptation. We are still in the flesh and that’s the fight we have to fight for Gods glory. And that’s the principle of sin. Every sin comes out of a bad root in your heart. From lies that you believe. If you want to stop doing this sin, you have to destroy the lies in your heart. You have to get under good biblical counselling and find out why you are lying, what it gives to you that you love so much. And nothing less than that. Just not lying is worthless in Gods eyes when the root is still rotten. The sin comes out otherwise. You don’t even really have a choice. You see the sin in your life. And if you say that you’re a real Christian you HAVE TO fight against it. If you don’t care about your sin (I don’t think so) you have to think about whether you’re a Christian or not. Have you ever given any real thought to what you believe and the god you bow to? Followers of Jesus in fellowship with Him, have no more consciousness of sin, and no fear of eternal judgment. Followers of false gods fear everlasting torture and unimaginable pain forever and ever if they don't get it right and have correct theology. Do you really worship a being that will torture forever the majority of his creation, like a evil little boy tortures innocent little kittens and puppies by lighting them on fire, breaking their bones while keeping them alive in constant torture? All because they didn't obey the commands given them. That describes the god of western evangelical Christians. Sick. Think about it.

@bradharford6052 8 ай бұрын
@@poppy-rose1999 it seems that the whole focus of Justin and his followers is on us being sinners and how bad we are, and how in need of Jesus we are. When we walk in oneness with Father, Son, and Spirit, all of that sin consciousness goes away. We are free in them to simply live and let the Christ life flow through us. These people are so caught up in being correct in their theology, that they have no relationship and true fellowship with God. Peters has made it clear that the Spirit of God does not communicate directly with him. One cannot have fellowship without two way communication.

My son was born with a rare birth defect known as proximal femoral focal deficiency. That is the medical term for "short thigh bone". It took 10 surgeries to save and fix his leg. Would I have loved for that leg to miraculously grow? Sure. Of course. But sometimes God has us go through the hard times. We have to trust Him. Going to a faith healer was tempting. But I thank God every day for protecting us from that temptation, as a shyster like Tood White could have completely destroyed the faith of my entire family. Jesus still heals today, He healed my sister of stage 4 ovarian cancer that had spread to her lungs and bones right before Christmas 2022. He also brought me back from the dead twice in 2012 from a heart attack that caused a stroke and also in 2019 from a massive hammorage that left me with no blood. Both times the doctors did basically nothing to help me infact they made things worse the first time and the second time they basically left me to die and gave up on me. But God came through because I called out to Him and my mum prayed for me both times over the phone as I was in and out of consciousness. The devil wanted me dead both times. The doctors were so shocked that I made it through that they told everyone around town about it. They said there was no way I could have survived and certainly not without severe health issues afterwards but I am perfectly healthy. Infact I'm better than I was before both those things happened health wise. Jesus paid for our salvation and our healing "And by His stripes we were healed". He paid for our healing before He went to the Cross. But if you don't understand that then you can't receive it, same as you can't receive salvation if you aren't open to it. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater just because of Todd or any other person for that matter. Ask God for yourself. Healing is nothing to be afraid of.

I was saved when I was 7 years old and will be 61 this month and needless to say, I’ve sinned more after being saved than I have before being saved. This is in no means bragging, I’m horrified at my sin as a Christian. I used to believe that one could lose their salvation. I lived in deep fear during that time because I would spend my nights before I went to sleep wondering if there was a sin that I had not confessed and even wondering if my sin brought me to the place of no return. Even trying to live trying to live sinless, I fell even harder into sin. Imagine the deep defeated life that I was experiencing. When I finally came to the realization that I cannot live a sinless/perfect life, I finally understood that I’m a mere human, and the sin nature was still alive in me and will be alive in me until God glorifies me in heaven. God’s grace is so much bigger than all of my sins and when He saved me, He saved me to the uttermost. Praise be to Almighty God!!!

Look at the next verses 1 John 2:1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father-Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God[a] is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. Please read verse 1 again. Please read verse 6 again. Does it mean we are Perfect? Of course not, but we live in Him and He is Perfect. We deny ourselves, not following our own desires, or the desires of this world and walk in the Spirit. The more we walk in the Spirit and the closer our relationship with Jesus and the more we listen to His Spirit, the less we hear ourselves and this world. Have a good day and God Bless.
