I purchased an EP Pro when it came out a few years ago and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it does as a DX radio on both AM and FM. The only thing I needed to get used to was the DSP when tuning (i.e., not a real issue though). I would highly recommend this radio to anyone who enjoys DXing,, especially if you do not want to spend the extra money for the 2E. I own a 2E as well and the EP Pro holds its own as a comparable DX radio. Good review, Todderbert!

Nice! But still no HDFM digital FM! Why? My local FM stations have more content on HDFM. Example, my local NPR station, WETS, broadcasts 4 stations on one. My standard FM radio only receives only 1 of the stations, not 4. I’m still waiting!

If you like to hold the radio on your lap, you could sit in a swivel-rocker and direction tune with your feet.

Hej Todderbert thanks for the video nice bandscan clearly a radio I am interested in but I have ordered the XHDATA D-808. A radio I've been watching for a long time so it should be nice to test it when it arrives a pity that Tecsun PL-330 does not have airband but, I can live without it on PL-330 because it has so much other candy. And I mainly bought Tecsun PL-330 for FM Shortwave and AM and it is very portable perfect when you are out and about take care have a nice onsdag.

Is it possible to hook up the Kaito T-1 antenna to the coaxial FM antenna input? I have an older radio that only has coax.

Slow down and listen to what you are saying. You say " 6 volt no polarity " when the polarity is CLEARLY marked!

I said " note polarity ". Because the Sleeve is Positive, which is not the norm.
