The trend of "family vloggers" reveals a disturbing tendency to put minors on social media without their consent and indulging in highly narcissistic behaviours. Thanks for approaching this topic analytically.

I can't imagine anyone watching these types of families and thinking they're always like that. It's all just for the cameras. Using children as 'actors' is disgraceful.
@Adara007
@Adara007 3 жыл бұрын
@@JustDr.S The way these people use their own children is quite sickening and ideally legislation would come into effect similar to that with child actors. Even then, however, it's likely they'd still be exploited because the parents seem to have pathologically high levels of narcissism.
@jennyzhang1302
@jennyzhang1302 3 жыл бұрын
I have the same concerns for those kids who grow up under the spotlight with everything shared on social media by their parents. Isn't it awkward one day a stranger approached you to say, I know you, your parents gave you a pink bike for your 3rd birthday !

I don't agree with living life always on camera or online but many people do. I think children shouldn't be compromised that way.
@JustDr.S
@JustDr.S 3 жыл бұрын
@@Adara007 I agree. The children are being exploited. Any legislation dealing with the internet is often met with disdain. Freedom of speech. Surely, the children aren't consenting to this. Something should be done about that. I don't see how YT allows it. They frequently ban users and channels for political or vulgar statements. They should be more concerned with these so called 'perfect families' using their children as props.

To some outsiders my life might seem boring...it's just my daughter and myself who live in a small house, we don't have much money but we love each other dearly, we enjoy our privacy and take great pleasure in the simple things in life, like today it was a lovely sunny warm day and we sat out in our garden and enjoyed all the work we put into making it pretty.......but you know what !!!........we are truly happy and content, and we don't have to pretend to be that way for an audience, and we probably represent a lot of people in how we live our lives.

I have relatives and friends that aren’t vloggers, but constantly post their babies and kids on social media (some of them not even blurring personal info or locations). I understand being proud of your kids, and putting a couple of photos can be OK, but these people out EVERYTHING on internet. If I grow up, and I see my mom posted more that she should (things that should be private, or photos that I don’t think they are flattering) or just my personal history day by day, I’d be upset. Parents forget that their kids are a person apart from them. That they are kids so they don’t get the complexity of the internet, and one day, their immature classmates can find those photos…and being bullied. And worst: parents upload photos of their children, and without knowing it, can be stolen by pedos for their benefit… which is disgusting.

I went back to therapy at 30 years old after that book. I had trauma treatment due to my childhood for 2 years in my early 20's. Instead of frozen hot dogs, I had instant rice and tang mixed with tap water. I have 2 wonderful teenage daughters now. No contact with my parents.

All I can figure is, whoever requests that these types of channels be analyzed are secretly sadistic and just want Dr. Grande to suffer for hours. 😄 Seriously though, I’ve never heard of all these KZbin channels and for that I’m grateful. I only watch them because they’re on Dr. Grande’s channel.

I do not always like Dr Grande's humor but in this case it is the only possible way of reporting on the deluge of drivel that is brought to the world courtesy of this youtube family. Drivel that is apparently so attractive to millions of viewers. Dr Grande's humor here acts as an insulating rubber glove.

Yes, mostly children and young females watch The Ace Family. A majority of their videos are wholesome. Going from humble beginnings to living large. Thats when Austin began the give aways, payment for exclusive content, the get rich like us schemes for their more mature audience and the current down right fraud from the boxing event, ....its terrible.

I can’t understand what young 20’s are doing with full families when they haven’t lived for themselves. I had 3boys; 2 girls. We are in our bicentennial and have a few in college, graduates, oldest 27 , no marriages or children. In the very worst minute of the worst day, your livelihood depends on how well you know yourself and how to navigate out of the situation. When you have monopoly on this you might be ready to settle down. We wanted our children to own this concept celebrate the self and be thankful within their dominion. I wanted to hug, love and nurture each child, and to be supporting. I have wonderful, intelligent adults that assist each other, and don’t depend on us financially.

I have a question. If it's under "pre-forecloser," doesn't that mean the bank owns the house?

Here's a little more info I've found: What To Do If Your Home Goes Into Preforeclosure If your home goes into preforeclosure, you have a few available options Catch Up On Missed Payments The first is to get out of preforeclosure by catching up on all your missed payments. If you can do this, and pay any late fees or other penalties, and continue to make regular payments, lenders will stop the preforeclosure process. There are more options as well, to help you keep your home.
