All her children believe him and were angry at her, they stood behind him in court that wasn't mentioned here. When you got family friends and all your children believing he didn't do it you tend to question if they are right. Thankfully she came to her senses and moved on with her life.

You’ve hit the nail on the head with #3!!! & then when there actually IS a crime they often couldn’t care less about doing due diligence unless there’s some external pressure on them, like from public scrutiny if the situation makes the news cycle for example. The pigs- oops(!) I meant police seem to always find excuses for not investigating as they should, especially if it’s a missing person who is 18+ or even a teenager as they are always labeled as a runaway, that is until their body shows up & it turns out they’d only recently been killed & if the police had done their jobs then the death could have been avoided. Sorry- I’m bitter.
@KatSpade1018
@KatSpade1018 Жыл бұрын
Well Jasmin, I'm thinking... 1. Less than the cost of repeatedly paying the cost of a murder along with the cost of multiple bail amounts. 2. Stupid enough not to realize that ppl that repeatedly get arrested will snitch him out for trying to kill his wife for a lesser punishment in their current cases and he will have provided proof of their story by signing his name on the bond papers with receipt for payment. It establishes a connection between him and the hit men and also raises the question of why is a millionaire repeatedly bonding out broke dope heads. 3. Cops don't believe broke dope heads. They prob figured they were making it all up in an attempt to score a plea deal in exchange for snitching on Frank's murder conspiracy. Meth heads come up with all kinds of stores that never happened. However, the police should always investigate a claim like that regardless of who it comes from just in case. Also, meth heads know everything about everybody in the streets so even if they lied about him offering to specifically pay Them to do this job, it's highly likely that they did actually hear a story in the streets about him offering someone money to kill his wife. You never can tell for sure or not but if police were doing the job they're getting paid for then that requires them to look into any information brought to their attention. They had a responsibility to make sure she was safe, just in case but instead chose to disregard their statement. Luckily she didn't die as a result. There's evidently no intelligent players anywhere in this tale. Can't imagine what that community must be like 😂

Too bad that the police didn’t investigate earlier. They had a guy in custody who was dumb enough to admit that he was attempting to be a hired hit man. They had an even dumber perpetrator in the husband. They could have had him wear a wire. Better safe than sorry in these cases.

It struck me how not only did the kids not believe their dad did this (and the stolen $), but they snubbed their mother. I can't imagine the pain and betrayal she must have felt. Your final thoughts on infidelity being like a powerful drug are clear and true. People's motivations for going into affairs go way beyond the sexual, I think it's more often a delusional plan to "have it all" and escape the present, unfulfilling life. The affair must seem like the solution to all of a cheater's problems. (Spoiler alert for cheaters: it isn't).

Hey Doc. Any chance you could do a video about the "Garden Gnome Massacre", in Florida twenty years ago, when three elderly Floridians were found murdered, and one cop -- *only one* -- discovered that the "garden gnomes" in their front yard were all in *slightly different positions* than before the murders! This poor guy lost his job because of this -- no one wanted to believe that garden gnomes could come to life and murder their owners -- but he once had a friend who was into black magic, and he knew what a spell could occasionally do. A few days after he was fired, he disappeared forever. And so did the gnomes. So if you could do a video about it, that would be really cool. Thanks!!

There's an old saying that goes "A fool and his money are soon parted". Frank Howard is the epitome of this kind of fool. There's another saying that goes "There's no fool like an old fool". Frank fits this description as well. Thinking with the wrong head will never lead men toward the outcome they may want or expect.

"How NOT to Kill a Wife and Other Improbable Shenanigans". Dr. Grande never disappoints. Nancy's (very likely) low self esteem for a number of reasons - cognitive dissonance, financial ignorance within the marriage, naivete, etc is not entirely unexpected, but still pitiable. I am glad that she was able to move on. Wish her the best.

The evidence was overwhelming, the wife finally came to her senses after being shot in the head and learning her husband was in love and with another woman for 3 years. And he embezzled millions, yet the 2 stupid daughters stood behind their father, and not their poor mother.

Dear Dr G, a brillant analysis of a sticky situation. Clearly one where proposed crime paid handsomely for hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of drugs and things. The murder proposer and funder ended up doing a long stint in jail where his rose colored glasses in relation to criminals keeing their word are bound to be shattered. Fantasaticly well done. Cheers from downunderer.

Them kids are as evil as their father. How in the absolute hell are you going to defend this pos who did what he did to their own mother? And the poor mother was such a good person. He could have gotten a divorce instead of embezzling money cheating on his wife and hiring hitmen....but they are defending dad instead of mom? Wow absolutely disgusting.

"He would murder his brain with methamphetamine instead of murdering Frank's wife" Always delivering wirh the jokes 😂 I swear just when I think I've seen the dumbest criminals out there, another case tops the last. Pre-paying a known drug addict for any reason, is ill advised. Thank God his plans fell apart, for the most part, and she survived. What a strange, sad, sensless act. Thank you for another great analysis, Dr Grande!!! ❤

Some people really believe and want a shot at "love". So if they are in a bad marriage and they meet someone new they might test the water to see if the new person is all it's cracked up to be. Eventually reality sets in. That's why I think people have affairs for the most part. But people would never fool around if they were happy in their marriage.

Yes! yes, yes! Hey, if you are liked, you can do anything. What a screwed up hypocritical family. She was twisted around the little fingers of the hypocrite daughters who liked their father more than their mother. It all boils down to that. I don't know: Do you really feel such a deep pity for a woman who doesn't appear to value her own life? Yes, such deep betrayal takes a moment or two to fully grasp & believe. That is true. It was a devastating blow both physically & mentally. But there comes a time, you must quickly realize what is going on--especially with something so deadly serious. I would never have done that to my mother. My mother would never have annulled herself like that. Never in a million years. She was in an abusive marriage & it was horrible due to many circumstances. She got out of it with ten cents in her pocket, got a fabulous job thanks to a rich neighbor who knew someone & soon enough regained her natural self esteme which was never ever lost completely.

Here’s one for you. My aunt and uncle were separated for a while due to an affair, but reconciled years ago. As they began to fail from age, he tried to convince her that his former lover could live with them and take care of them. The former lover had taken a lot of money from him and always was asking for more, even after the affair ended. I told my aunt she would end up at the bottom of a well if she allowed it. She reluctantly followed my advice.

Rotten husband Frank and drug-addicted con man Billy deserve each other. I’m glad Frank lost all that money and I’m glad he’s in prison. The man who finally tried to kill Nancy should have gotten a longer prison sentence. The fact Nancy was considering remarrying Frank shows you how love can render a person deaf, dumb and blind when they follow their heart and forget their head.
