It's crazy how many people choose murder of their spouse over divorce.

That shit comes down to money and/or kids. Edit: I was just told by my sister that jealousy can be a trigger. Idk anything about that but ok. Add jealousy. Another edit: I totally see how an abuser is at risk of being murdered too. Fuck it. Everyone is killing everyone. Stay single. Stay alive.

It’s funny because my dad was kind of this guy, and I always hated how “embarrassing” it was. Now here I am thinking “ok. There are others like this” Which helps me immensely because between my dad and this guy, I became a person like this. Most people don’t seem to like it. Damn you, chromosomes. at any rate, glad to see it can be funny. Though dr Grande is better at this than either of us are.

"Johnny decided that committing homicide would simply be easier. I guess he was thinking about all the work of opening the door to Ernie's truck, placing the methamphetamine inside and then closing the door." I just love Dr. Grande's dry, sarcastic sense of humor. I never get tired of it; and even when he's describing a sensitive event in a case, he manages to lighten the mood.

I talk to her occasionally through the pen pal (thanks Dr Grande for introducing me to a new friend). She seems to have really changed from what the videos show her as. IDK about the youtube fame, i asked her about it. She said it was more of a way to vent about her life, that's why her videos are just....that kind of quality. She was depressed, etc. I also saw it as a hobby of hers, but I don't think she was seeking fame. In fact, i know she doesn't want it, now even. She hates that videos are made of her and that weirdoes pen pal her bc her profile gets shared thru videos. and no dr grande, i didn't get her info from you. I wrote her after this video was made, i didn't know of her crime till after we started writing back and forth, then I googled her and found she had a full episode of Snapped! dedicated to her. I'd really like to see a follow up on a lot of these subjects 5-10 years later thru interviews when possible, it would be interesting to see if they're the same. But prison has changed her. She has not asked me for a single penny either.

Absolutely agree. However, after watching Simon Whistler channels, I could easily see the Doc maybe getting assistance through some avenue, e.g., Doctoral student, freelance investigators, students who write papers for other students..the Doc's resources are likely HUGE as he MUST be well respected in his "community". Furthermore, what a great way for students to "tap into" the Doc.. His trick, however he does it, is that whatever he streams fits so SUCCINCTLY with what little we know about the Doc, his ethics, morals, emotional intelligence...I just LOVE this guy and wish him and HIS, the most fulfilling family life. Love the shirt DR, G. 😁 It always amazes me that the stories they make up to protect themselves are not believable enough to actual protect themselves... Nobody should use social media as an option financially. Was anyone in this case paying attention to these babies, grandma's, aunt's, cause this was a crazy case. Thank you for what you do DR, G the world needs therapy.

Good video,Dr.Grande. It is a sad reality when life is taken for granted. As it emerges here in Ireland they are starting a new search for women who went missing in the 90's in Kildare and Wicklow mtns. The families will hopefully get some answers.

Another great analysis Dr Grande, thanks for keeping the great content coming! I'm wondering why the guy who pulled the trigger got a much lighter sentence than Samantha and Octavius. They all were guilty of horrible things, but the guy that actually shot Ernie in the head probably deserved the worst punishment. Maybe I'm missing something. (?)

Dr. Grande did a really good job here in providing a remarkably accurate synopsis of this murder. I was one of the investigators on this case. Regarding who made the decision to switch from set-up planting drugs on the victim, it was Rhyme's cousin, the drug dealer who provided the meth that first suggested the idea of how to get him out of her life once and for all. It's well known he provided advice to killers and in the end, the plan was punctuated with murder.

I would love a video on what’s in personality pathology that makes it such a significant guide by which these analyses are made. It’s almost like personality pathology is more indicative of why people do the things they do, rather than anything else? As I venture through life I catch myself trying to figure out personality of those around me, but I wish I knew more about what that actually told me. Not just individual markers, but specific patterns of highs and lows end up committing X or the same end up successful with Y. Are their relationships that are successful when two combinations of personality come together? Something (anything) like that, I think would be helpful for those of us who remember and love your educational videos in addition to true crime stories.
