“We simply accept people, and their ‘messiness,’ because it is a richer life to live connected than to live separate.” - That sentence brilliantly , and single-handedly, sums up the ancient non-dualistic wisdom traditions, in easily digested 21st century terminology. Man, it feels so good to hear that message! My loved ones and I can benefit from this clear and gentle reminder as our holiday gatherings layer on the stress. ☮️

I am tested every day. Some days I win, some i lose. When i feel like I'm losing i remove myself physically from the situation as it is exhausting and an inner smile doesnt help. We are human and irs okay to walk away.

I like to think that while I'm being delayed in traffic or anything else, that's exactly what needs to happen. It's what is supposed to happen, So be with it.

I want you to know that you are a friend very close to my heart. The physical distance is dwarfed by the truths that pass through you, reach me and continue on. Thank you for this friendship. Best regards. Tomer

Radical acceptance. The suffering we experience in life isn’t directly from the pain we experience. It’s our attachment to it.

In my case all my stress and chronic anxiety comes from insecurities, from my lack of self worth. I'm selfish and I bad to people some times but it's not because I want to, it's because of how I feel about myself. Every moment of my life I feel I'm not enough and I'm always afraid of failing, so I stress and stress and can't sleep and I end up failing. I identified the problem, but I don't know how to fix it.

Sounds like all the other of millions of people. Try silent meditation to see what is inside, and practice gratitude millions of time/ day. See how your life will change. I'd say especially being grateful 🙂

When a person blames others for their own irresponsibilities remaining as calm as possible in the present knowing the truths calms them down. Patience coupled with that helps. Staying quiet listening to them and having love inside is the best action to reduce and/or alleviate stress.

It’s one of the things people find me most difficult is to walk away when someone has been verbally abusive at home or in the work environment and what to do about it . Probably my biggest test in the spiritual journey so far 🙏💯💙🌎😱

The craziest thing about stress for me is that it is purely conditioned by my own thoughts. I could be sitting on Del Mar beach surrounded by all the greatest teachers, from st. Francis to Rumi, and still be stressed if I choose to believe my thoughts. I could be listening to the Buddha rap battle Jesus on mt Sumeru and still look like those photos of 12 yr olds during the Industrial Revolution, if I choose to believe my thoughts.

Im in hell, i made a unforgivable mistake, that has altered my life. I lost everything that had meaning and love. I live in self pity, hate, blame. I lost my job, and everything that a great job provides! Including my security, structure , social interaction, purpose etc. My job was my identity. I stress horribly . I have anxiety, always afraid, insomnia, never sleep, depression.. no desire, no care, no hope, no happiness....lost interest and pleasure in activities, hobbies, and life. I don't like living..... this is unbearable suffering.
