Hey Todd. I think part of what makes Greys Anatomy and it’s intense drama so intriguing is how the characters experience and endure such intense grief and still find a way to see the silver lining in life.

The hardest part about Lexie and Mark's deaths it was the fact that the finale gave us time to grieve and recover but then the next season's premiere ripped open the wound and stabbed us again. It was the first and last time a show ever made me turn off the tv and grab a drink to sob with until I fell asleep. That one was brutal. The thing about Grey's is that it's not just the main character deaths that end you. The side characters and one-off patient of the week can end you too.

Derek's death and Meredith having to tell their kids still gets me, always. Derek was my favourite character so his death was a huge shock and Grey's anatomy didn't feel the same after he died.

Number one is the only one I would’ve put on this list. Everything else was nothing compared to some of the early and middle seasons emotional moments. The most emotional moments were from people from the main cast dying not even patients but there were definitely a lot of those too of course lol

Yep, I couldn't watch Grey's for quite some time when my mom died after a stroke, aneurysm and month in a coma. How do you even have a medical drama without one of those things happening? You don't.
