I’m glad I actually gave this show a chance. Started it in Fall 2021 and didn’t think I would like it, but when I first heard that opening “We Are”, something told me that my perspective was about to change a lot. By the end of the video, I got misty-eyed. I remember watching One Piece (albeit the original dub by 4Kids, but it definitely got me looking for the music from the original Japanese and I was looping Family for days after hearing that one) when I was around 18 so for me it’s been 20 years of watching it. It doesn’t feel like it though. And seeing the years and the significant events from the arcs all shown BY YEAR really rubbed in how many years have passed. Like, seeing how many years it’s been since Wano started. It’s been a spectacular journey and it’s incredible seeing how many have either grown up with the series quite literally as they’re the same age, or those who are older and still dedicating time to it as well as finding the newbies who start watching it these days while knowing there’s over 1000 episodes and movies to tune into. Happy Anniversary to One Piece anime! Congratulations for coming so far, and bravo to everyone who has been involved in it all over the world, but especially to the ones who brought it to life from a humble manga that has since grown into being a strong series.

Decided to watch this anime for the first time about 3-4 years ago, Watched until the middle of Shark Park and dropped it, but came back after 2 months, and must say, that was the best desicion of my life. I began watching One Piece on daily basis, 20 episode a day (About 6 hours total), and in about 5-6 months I was on the Whole Cake Island already. The story, the music, characters and world building is phenomenal. I'm truly greatful for this anime, It keeps determined, motivated. Thank you a lot, Toei Animation.

As a kid when One Piece aired in 2000, kids like me cried when Sanji left Jeff, when Chopper said farewell to Doc/Bader or when Luffy saved rabbit mom for the rabbit kid during snowfall. They made kids cry and teached them about life. They even made us cry because of a ship. Oda is proof of human peak.

It's absolutely insane that this series has been going on since I was a youngster. I got introduced through the 4Kids Dub and loved it till they stopped airing. Returned back to it when I heard more episodes were released, learning of the Funimation Dubbing. The journey and adventures were too awesome that I couldn't wait for the English versions and just went to the subs. Fully caught up on the Anime during Marineford, and the excitement wouldn't stop so I had to continue to the manga. 25 years of Anime Gold, 27 years of Manga Serialization, More than 3/4ths of my life I've been addicted to this series, and I'm still loving it to this day~. To think that I've been able to enjoy this journey near it's conception and release to now, and all the way through the Final Saga. I won't know what to do with myself when it does end, I don't know anything that can top One Piece for me. Gonna be interesting to see how the Netflix Remastering of it is going to go

I only started watching the show last December, and am already in the Skypes arc. I have made so many memories watching this show, seeing as the drum island arc is one of the only pieces of media that made me cry successfully. Now I am sharing my love for the straw hats and their amazing journey with my little 5 year old brother ( who understands the story fairly well for his age, and is unshaken by the fight scenes btw).
