So many different kinds of Vegan superfoods made from Soy Bean.. By the way, Tofu can also be made from Sesame Seeds, a Sesame Tofu called Goma-dofu, which is more elegant, delicate and very different taste from Soy Tofu.. It might be the other way around. High demand often leads to more adulteration as producers rush to meet needs. Tofu, being less in demand, might have fewer adulteration issues compared to paneer.

Hi Arvind Sir. I turned into a vegetarian a year and a half before. I had the calling. After watching your videos, I stopped consuming dairy since 3 months now. I felt proud about it. But sadly (1) recently I have had a loss of appetite. (2) Also, Dairy is so much involved in Indian cuisine that it reduces so many options of food (3) also I feel like I trouble people who I visit (4) I feel very sick and without any energy at times (5) I feel less energetic in general compared to when I was a non-vegetarian. (6) I am a konkani man and my ancestors depended on seafood, meat, vegetables and rice. I am not sure but may be genetics play an important role in what we should eat. We know Mother nature/universe is unfair. Only it decides it's rules. Humans also suffer because of it. I have started to think to turn back to eating non-veg and dairy. Just wanted to hear your last words if you could change my mind. Please counter all my six points. Kindly help. Earnest request🙏
@danielthomasmusic5 күн бұрын
Hi. Point 1, 4, and 5 depends entirely on what you're eating on a daily basis so it's hard to comment. Try and research about daily nutritional requirements and simple recipes that can help. Trust me, there's a lot of traditional Indian food that works both nutritionally and taste wise. And also, it's essential that you take a B12 supplement. Point 2 is true, but there's plenty of Indian food that is dairy free. A lot of simple traditional Indian food does not have dairy, especially if cooked without ghee. The humble dal-chawal is easily one of the best. Add a little variety, some more veggies and beans maybe and a good source of protein like tofu and you're sorted. When it comes to point 3, remember who you are doing this for. No matter how much you think you may be inconveniencing people, remember that the animals suffer far more than that, and your commitment to veganism is a commitment to upholding their rights. Finally, about your culture as a Konkani man, you must understand that for the animals that have to suffer, our culture or lineage is irrelevant. They do not deserve to be killed or exploited. Please do not turn your back on the animals.

1) loss of appetite can be due to various caises including indigestion, constipation, over indulgence in rich oily foods etc. Best to visit a competent doctor. 2) If you keep away from dairy, there are many options including indian sweets. Kheer, shira can be made using arrowroot powder, oats, poha etc. 3) Think of the trouble every animal goes through its life because we have to pleaee relatives? Relatives can be pleased with other things, but not by hurting animals. Once a few months pass bye, you may actually inspre others to give up animals. Animals are meant to be loved and protected. Only human species has this capability. Use it to the fullest. 4) Maybe, you are anemic or low on vit B12, iron, D3. Maybe you have parasitic infestation, maybe you are sleep deprived, maybe you're not eating healthy unprocessed whole plant based food? Again visit a health care professional who knows real nutrition. 5) instead of having 200 gms of thin dal, have 200 gms of thick dal. That way you get more dal instead of water to fill your stomach. Same with sprouts and other vegetables. 6) Back then choices were less, necessity was more. They needed to survive so they dod what they needed to survive. Today you get more than what is available in Konkan. You get global variety of food. There is no need at all for consuming animals in your diet. Bottom line: sleep atleast 9 hoirs every night at fixed times so you wake up at fixed times, like 10pm to 7 am. Eat healthy, be physically active by engaging in reasonable sports or outdoor activities. Be compassionate towards all creatures. Not only you, but your soul will be happy. All the best on taking the right decision.

It seems you may not be fully aligned with the core ethical message behind veganism. At its heart, veganism is rooted in compassion and the ethical stance of not exploiting or harming sentient beings. If this perspective isn't deeply understood or embraced, dietary decisions might lean more toward personal appetite, taste, or convenience. Take a moment to reflect: imagine yourself, or someone you deeply care about, in the place of those innocent beings. How would you feel if their life was treated as consumable or replaceable for someone else's needs? This empathy is the essence of the vegan message. It’s not just about what we eat-it's about the lives we choose to respect and protect.

I hope you learn to make Tofu easily at home, tell Indian stores to make Tofu, and promote Indians to eat more Tofu all over India. Even I grew up all my life with eating all those, and majority eating those. But when I become Vegan, I know the cultural tradition and my convenience is not a good enough excuse to keep hurt and kill many innocent life.🙏

@Burner_2693 күн бұрын
We globally get 80% of our calories from plants directly from 55% of the crop land, and would be able to make up the difference of 20% calories from another 36% of that crop land freed up from animal ag. And the ratio of protein globally is 60% plant and 40% animal based. Again this can be covered by that crop land being reclaimed for plant food,and we can add to it with processes such as cultivated protein and precision fermentation “dairy”.

If you all are talking about the humanity then let's think about the green house effect which cause by agriculture couldn't this 'll harm everyone (animals too) also the pestisides, chemical products to kill the insects wouldn't anyone think about them . Actually the problem is people wants to make a change but doing deforestation, spreading pollution aren't these things Harming animals? buses ,train ,car, aeroplane, ships aren't this spreading pollution and isn't this harming animals can't this leads to death even it'll leads to any disease which is worst than death they will die in agony why aren't vegan stop these things also? If they do than after that day i'll be start my vegan journey too.

@shoban1520Күн бұрын
@sriganesh8398 Totally agree. The plants grown to feed the animals who are ten times our number is grown killing insects the SAME way too. So do your Math. Who is killing MORE insects? You 98% of the 8 billion human population who consume BOTH plants and animals and feed the animals you kill with plants or the 2% of vegans who eat ONLY plants? Think. It isn't rocket science.
@shoban1520Күн бұрын
@sriganesh8398 The insects we kill during plant agriculture are NOT artificially bred, confined or abused until they die. AND they have the chance to escape when they hear the harvesters coming. In animal agriculture the animals dont have that choice. They are confined until the day they are dragged into the slaughterhouses and have their throats slit. Think.
