Major mistake in translation. Ashang said two division of Chinese soldiers moved from Gertse towards Purang, and another one from Ruthog in 1951 not 1959.

The oral history of Tibet is a great project and thanks for the oral history team. On site translation and the interviewer interviewing a foreign culture is very difficult, so if one would go through the transcript again this interview again than the content of this very interesting history more accurate . Also if one can add a map of the birth places of every interviewed persons would be very so important!!!
