Answer: Word has it that the tape had been blocked (legally) from being released. This audio extract (unfortunately with bg music) may be the best thing we have.

I've wondered about this for a long time. Word has it the tape has been legally blocked from release, huh? Interesting. I'm curious to hear where that has been mentioned, and for what reason has it been legally blocked? I'd very much love to hear the original recording in full one day if that could ever be possible.
