The LMGs are not exactly the gun you use to go for a high kill count. They are actually a more of a support type weapon, where you can pin enemies behind cover so your teammate can tag him. Thats more their purpose, to pin down enemies so your team can flank or revive a guy or cap an objective. Just thought I'd clarify, nice review.

i play this game by myself and im still addicted to it. almost every game i join everybody on my team knows what their doing even though they dont have mics, when im planting a bomb or something i see my teammates around me and covering me and i do the same for them. i win a lot of my games even though im not playing with friends nor am i using a mic and still have so much fun.

I like the idea of seeing the muzzle flash when ADS but I think it's a little too much. It blocks most of the screen.

A way to get it is if you have splinter cell conviction go on that and on the main menu it should promt you to go to the marketplace to download it :)

The PC version is Ghost Recon Online, and yes it has a cover system. It has some pretty big differences with Future Soldier though. I've played the PC beta for Ghost Recon Online

Ok the demo is not out. This right here was the beta. Also, to clear up something, the only way you could get the beta is 3 ways, owning splinter cell conviction, pre ordering, or setting up a Ubisoft Uplay account. The beta started around 4/17/12, and ends 5/2/12, and the final game releases 5/22/12. Another thing that is your best friend, is the sensor grenades, THEY HELP OUT!!

This is gonna be sick. I've been looking at trailers for two years hoping because I've been playing GR since before GRAW was out. Also played so many rainbow six games and read the actual rainbow six book! This and rainbow six will be some of the best Tom Clancy games to date this year!

hey pwn, the MG'S recoil is fine. their a bit more realistic kinda. their meant to be used while crouched or proned or from lowcover. gives more control. bipod helps too

+ Best customization I've ever seen in a game. + Have the AK-200, one of my favorite guns. + Good graphics, cover system, and tactical gameplay. - Few guns; because of the 1 character limitation, you can only try out 8 primary guns, unless you want to start over another class/faction from level 1. - Third person is unrealistic as you can see around corners without peeking. - Seems to have little content compared to for example BF with vehicles, destruction, more weapons, maps, scopes etc.

Ghost reconquista also has co-op on lockdown. They always did have fun singleplayer and the multiplayer isn't to shaby. Been a fan since ghost recon on original XBOX (car battery controller). Can't wait

two things i think need to be said about this game for those who wish to buy it you can play this by yourself online and be very succesful. the way the game is made people are motavated to work together and its so simply that you dont need to talk to someone to know how to help each other. another thing which i love about this games multiplayer is that you get more points for helping your team than killing someone for example spotting and enemy will get you 300xp killing only 75xp its great

well, it's an unfortunate truth that previous ghost recons had a limited fan base due to its long and difficult campaign levels and was, as you said, realistic. i was specifically talking about the first advanced warfighter which i've never played multiplayer in, but i think i got to the second campaign level and was absolutely destroyed. it reminded me of the old arcade days of never getting to a checkpoint and starting over for one mistake. future soldier appeals to a wider audience

The beta is just a test for the mulitplayer & campaign so ubisoft can go back and do some changes for the full version before it is released.

helps to have team mates. the level of customization is crazy and the 3 classes bring a surprising amount of variety to this game. if nothing else, atleast rent the game and give it a shot.

The one problem I have is finding a team. You have no problem with that since you got followers and than other commentators to play with. So can you tell me how you found a team before you got subs or w/e? And not only with this but with BF3 and MW3 as well (BF3 = PC, MW3 = 360 and if I get this 360 as well).

dude did you played Splinter Cell Conviction? this game is more like SPC than RS and GoW, but you do have a point, its not similar to the Advanced Warfighter games, but i think it was a good change, Future Soldier is way more polished and more detailed, one of the best games i played this year, and the best shooter of 2012 so far

Great review man. I was the same as far as this game not being on my radar, gave it a shot and loved it. Team work is key but unfortunately thats one of the biggest things that i feel will turn people off about this game. If you don't play as a team you get owned, and not too many people put there are team players right off the bat. Should be interesting to see how this one sells. Either way definitely getting this one day one

Homefront was a fun game. The snipers sucked in multiplayer, but the whole experience was fresh and required skill. Miss it! Dlc was bought by like 10 ppl tho LOL

It is something groundbreaking. Ghost recon has always been a great series. Yes, we all know battlefield is a great game. But ghost recon is something new, unique but has been there for a while. With the future theme to it and the fact that its 3rd person and 1st person with the gunsmith feature in the game. Makes the game great.

I bought this game for the co op and the hoard mode just to find out that there is NO lobby for these games, unless I'm wrong it seems its strictly by invite only. I hope Im wrong about this but i looked every whichway for a lobby to play a co op mission.

So i have done lots of research on this be for i replied. Ghost recon future soldier was made on an in house engine called YETI. I thought that splinter cell convictions was made on the same engine. turns out its made on a different engine called LEAD engine. i be leave these engines are very similar just made for different game series. some stuff i read says the YETI engine is based on an extremely modified Unreal engine 2.5.
