@kersey3333 жыл бұрын
Tom is still deeply involved in the game. Probably doesn’t want to talk about stuff that is going to put him on tilt, lose his spot in the game etc. To me Tom shouldn’t have to pay Jungleman a cent considering FT went belly up
@asgerlyng96193 жыл бұрын
i agree. I would have loved to hear some of those topics as well. I do think Tom might have had some issues with some of the topics and asked joey not to talk about them fx the jungle situatiuon and the big asia games. It seemed like the interview mostly focused on topics that Tom wanted to talk about, and also the fact that it was realesed on pokerking yt channel instead of joeys podcast. Joey probably just accepted all these conditions just to get the interview, which he has been hunting for years

I thought this was refreshing. Clearly this was what was on his mind. I mean how many times did the guy say “solve for” or “game economy” lol, but that aside this was like having a real conversation with Tom in the present. I actually thought the interview with Ivey was a throw away, because just like Tom said at the end there are consequences if he tells certain details or stories. And they are always asked the same questions about the past and give the same answers. We heard that already. And again, as Tom said he’s just going to say no comment. Ivey did just that.

The comment from Paul that Tom discussed, reminds me of a tourney I played in 2019 during the Goliath at the Planet Hollywood in Vegas. As I sit at my first table a discussion breaks out and the accents were from all over the world. As they start laughing and going down the line, I was the only American at the table and I felt very fortunate to play a game that brought people from all over the world. They asked where I was from and I wanted to give them an answer that I thought would resonate globally so I asked them if they were familiar with horse racing as I live in the city that hosts the Kentucky Derby. Some knew it, some didn't but I enjoyed playing with them in a game that we obviously all love, all while having very diverse backgrounds.

Please provide ID card information and face recognition. I would like to ask if you are a national unit. What illegal thing does a gambling platform want to do with the face recognition of players? After I provided my ID card, I still said that my account was frozen and could not be unsealed.. Then I searched for relevant titles on the Internet. A large number of players posted Posts saying that they were all blocked by you for no reason. A good platform was made so bad by you. It is extremely bad in the reputation of the players. It is commonly known as the king of black money. I don't know whether you are going to close down and can't continue to operate by freezing the funds of the players, or your management team, The bottom level personnel privately freeze the player's funds to transfer to their own accounts.. Moreover, the frozen account funds are not in the public notice. Please check the platform management carefully.

People have fallen far from there natural selfs. Stuck in the five senses; the nature of reality is truly amazing and if people only knew the truth it would be a utopian society just like hundreds of thousands of years ago when humans could hold their breath underwater for hours could telepathically communicate with other entities from other realms, one could make random objects spontaneously combust using one's mind we were complete beings at one point but now we are rendered useless like an animal we are farmable and the entities that have taken us over and what I mean by that is they have hijacked our reality because they look like us just like in the movie the blue people it's pretty similar to that in the sense that the navi which were the blue people lived in harmony and then something infiltrated that group but that's something looked exactly like the navi which were the blue people so they got infiltrated from the inside because someone looked like them so they accepted them because they looked like them.

6:35 what does he mean 'not sharing information'? About what? About the tendancies of players, about the games hes playing in, about strategy?
@mackenzienehring55313 жыл бұрын
I believe he is talking about not sharing details of who is in those games, where they are, and the stakes involved. For the billionaires he is playing, privacy is everything. Tons of tax and even political complexities for billionaires if certain info gets out. It is also well known that gambling is used to launder money, so again, keeping his mouth shut is crucial to being invited to those games. I could be wrong, but I think that is what he is driving at.

Please, dont let live poker die. It is actually why we love poker so much. Playing and watching it. The human element of skill, tilt, personality, tells, style, mood, purpose, passion, whim, etc, and of course luck. It let's to still have some control of the game and decision making, whether right or wrong mathematically or logical.

Tom can sell a book on his time in Macau alone. Interesting character not only as a poker player but as a person too. Also, Joey Ingram is a great interviewer.

The topic Dwan hit on at roughly 1:15 is, in my opinion, the true future of poker. Creating an interesting social experience for players is how the game grows.
