Diets will always fail because once someone loses weight the go back in to old eating habits. THE only way to lose weight is like Tom said ..Exercise is key but the biggest thing is changing your eating habits

100% I just quit my job a few months ago, worked there for a year and three months. I worked in a Produce Department of a local grocery store. Rather than go to the fast food joints nearby I killed two birds with one stone and ate food from my department. To eat better and to provide customers with an accurate description of the food when asked. So many healthy snacks, fruits and veggies I had never tried before. So I would try a new one every day for lunch. It was more affordable and healthier plus I could quickly grab so I had more time to relax. I started the job at 185lbs, when I quit I was 130-135 and adding muscle from all the heavy lifting I did. Realistically the only thing that changed was the diet. I always worked labor intensive jobs, and I lost 50 lbs in a year. Just realize every single thing you ingest into your body, effects the way it performs. The cleaner and less processed the food/drink is, the better it usually is for you. Processed foods are riddled with toxins that ruin digestion and your metabolism. EDIT: Typos

I had to go gluten free several years ago, spent 40 years of my life trying to figure out what was wrong with me. Since going Gfree, I've lost over 50lbs! I still eat carbs, just no Gluten base products. Gluten was seriously messing up my system. Funny thing, except for people with Celiac Disease, I thought it was a fade diet for others. I humbly eat those thoughts and words now.

The biggest weight-loss tips, at least from my experience, are - Intermittent fasting. Meeting all your daily caloric needs in a 4-6 hour window and fasting the other 18-20 hours. This cuts the fat, without losing muscle mass. - Burn more calories than you consume. More sweat, more better! (Keep an eye on that heart rate though, don't overdo it) - Keep bad carbs (sugary sweets, pastas, breads) to an absolute minimum, or eliminate altogether. - Keep alcohol and caffeine consumption to an absolute minimum, or eliminate altogether. - Drink LOTS of water! One gallon or more, per day, depending on intensity of exertion. Baseline is one gallon, per day. - Get good sleep every night - For men, keep masturbation to a minimum, seriously. You're wasting valuable testosterone on something that serves no real purpose. Save that testosterone for the gym......or reproducing.

Are you making carnivore your permanent lifestyle? Or is it just a weight loss method for you?
