RATM can take 10 yrs off and come headline Coachella with no new music... that’s power!
@NotoriousCRG273 жыл бұрын
I love how old school Morello is holding the mic. Best band I have ever seen live. And you constantly hear positive fan stories about Tom. "Some of those who work forces are the same that burn crosses" RATM lyrics are still as relevant today as they were in the 90s

I met Tom morello once in the beer line at the Vic theater in Chicago once at his own show. Steve Earle opened for him and during his set I went to get a beer and fucking Tom morello is just standing there waiting to grab a 312 and there was no one else around at the moment. I was in shock for a minute but I shook his hand and told him I was really grateful for the music he’s made. He was cool as shit, and put on a great show as the nightwatchman after that. Cool story, I know.

Similar experience but at Disney land with his family. I was within five feet of him fir several minutes. Tempting to ask for a photo or something but thought that would be tactless with him trying to enjoy the day with his kids. But just being in Disney land of all places and Tom RUGHT there. I get the experience.

RATM was one of the best bands on the 90's, their sound is unique, produce music unlike any other. And it baffles me, they have not yet been inducted on The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

RATM is/was one of those rare bands that could play a festival for 50,000 people and generate the sort of energy you'd feel in a tiny club. You could feel electricity crackling in the air before, during, and after they were on stage.

Yes indeed. Supernatural experience.

Albums are like snapshots in time, quite literally. Even if the album has no "concept" behind it at all, just the fact it was most likely produced with all songs made in the same time span imprints a specific quality to the final product that is irreplicable later on.

Can you imagine Florida with bunch of 80 yr olds in golf carts blasting eminem? That's where were headed. Then the kids get to college and suddenly discover "old school" music and it's hip again.
