Best version ever. Nothing like 20 thousand people singing with him. So moving and so powerful. I've been to many concerts and I have to say, Tom Petty concerts are the best. He interacts with the crowd and makes ya feel as if he cant perform without you. You are missed Tom!!! R.I.P

Still can’t believe he’s gone but he’s still here, isn’t he? What a beautiful singer/songwriter. Just the best. So happy I got to see him at the Rose Garden in Portland, OR. Thank you Tom. You are here forever for us to enjoy & even to get the chance to sing with you anytime. ❤️

I love these live performances by Tom Petty. Not just because they are great songs that are performed perfectly, but because the crowd clearly loves it as well and it goes well with the music.

Dude.... I had listened to this As I was driving to school. It felt like Bowie all over again, when I had listened to space oddity, which caused tears to come down. But today after listening to this, and especially “Won’t Back Down”...I had to pull the car over.... I broke down crying over this loss.... Today was the saddest I’ve ever felt about a musician’s death since David Bowie. I’m still upset about it.

@Manniex3 No you dont dude! I use to say the same thing when i was a teen. I wish i had grew up during the cool late 50's-60's hot rod era. If I had i would be close to tipping. Now growing up during the 70's-80's was killer (I was 18 in '79). I was lucky to have had my youth during that decade. It was truly a great time. The best music in 65+ yrs of Rock n' Roll. It is nice to see some of todays youth enjoy my generations music.

I think I better get this live anthology four CD set quickly! What I hear here and on Sirius TP's station channel 31 of it is all amazing. How many great tunes does TP have in him? A true miracle. He's my Beatles these days, man. Proud to say he grew up in a house I go to park at and get the vibes from that's 10 minutes away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a musician, but he's got all ends of music in rock, blues, pop, some country, and pretty acoustic songs covered in every way as writer, singer, you name it...with his Breakers too, of course. I better drive on over to his boyhood home and thank him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kept waiting through the entire song for him to ramp it up, into the up tempo version of the song, they way it was originally recorded. This is more like easy listening. Not too bad though.
