In this clip from episode 233, Tom shares some stories that he has heard about Ndamukong Suh. Since Will played with him at Nebraska, he is able to confirm or deny whether or not those stories are true. Will also shares some WILD stories of his own.

Get on the bus with NFL players Will Compton & Taylor Lewan! The Boys are letting you in on their hilarious, high-energy (and often heartfelt) conversations. Topics range from exclusive stories to active player perspectives to out-of-left-field hot takes on things you and your friends only discuss behind closed doors. Sometimes they chat with a guest, sometimes it's just the two of them, but it's always a good time when you're Bussin' With The Boys.
And yes, this is the podcast where Mike Vrabel said he'd cut his piece off for a Super Bowl.

I read somewhere that Suh was so dominant on the D-line that Nebraska played a dime defense essentially the entire 2009 season because they didn't need the linebacking help. The fact he didn't win the Heisman shows you can't take that trophy seriously and how lazy the voting has become. Like we're supposed to actually believe the best player in the country every year just happens to be the QB of the #1 ranked team.

Ronnie Lott was like that between the lines. One year one of Lott's teammates told him Phil Simms was shit talking Ronnie before a playoff game between the 49ers and Giants when both teams were at their peaks. At some point in the game Lott's teammate pulled him off of Simms and told him he made it up because he was afraid of what Lott was going to do. He said it was actually scary watching one of the best defensive back hitters of all time trying to punish the Giants on every play.

He also brought the Lions zero playoff wins and zero division titles. You really wanted to give him a $114 million contract? That didn't work out well for Miami, they went 22-26 with him and also had zero playoff wins. Since they were going to let him walk the Lions should have traded him before his contract was up.

I get it that it sucks for the fans, and I would be pissed off if a player on my favorite team did that. However, every year you spend going hard in the trenches in the NFL is literally taking years off of your life and diminishing your quality of life after football. So my guess is it had more to do with that than pure laziness, and the story about how smart and savvy he is (corresponding with Warren Buffet, etc.) checks out.
